Mac and NXT PSA: How to get 2.2.3 working as intended

As you are probably aware, recently with the launch of NXT 2.2.3 being able to launch multiple clients on Mac was one of the main features. This update was launched with an unforeseeable issue with the runescape.app. Mac does something weird with their applications, instead of launching a new app, it focuses the current open app. How we launch the game when testing is via the RS-Launch URL this unfortunately bypasses the start application code which is currently not working as smoothly as we anticipated. The solution is to launch RuneScape via the Play now button on the RuneScape website. This will not only allow you to launch multiple clients but it will also launch the client so much quicker!

Sorry for any disruption this may have caused I expect this to be fixed by 2.2.4 which will be released later in the month.

TL;DR - Opening RuneScape via the website will allow NXT to work properly on Mac with 2.2.3.
