Runescape was, like I'm sure it was for many of you, a major part of my life for the longest time. I played on an off for 14-15 years, with my current hiatus being maybe 18 months ago (unsure of exact time) because i could no longer justify the cost of membership. My stats were all at least 99 (obv not necromancy) and I focused what I considered mid tier bossing (GW2 and Araxxor mostly).

Would being only able to play 10-15 hours a week at most justify the membership price tag? Is the content I've missed worth the money and time investment to catch up?

If you've not jumped in for a while, may I recommend checking out our Returning Member Offer? You might qualify for that! If you do choose to jump back in, welcome back, and I hope your adventures are excellent and you enjoy your return to Gielinor!

Not really, but if a community member is looking to come back, I'm happy to welcome them, and if they did qualify for that offer, I didn't want them to miss it.

Sadly, it doesn't look like I qualify, as it's going directly to the full cost store. The stipulation on not completing the OSRS tutorial is a little draconian, seeing as I was playing when it was launched, and obviously I jumped on the nostalgia bandwagon. Unfortunate.

That's very fair feedback - this was our first time trying something like this and it was an admittedly very selective list of criteria that we wanted to experiment with. You're not the first person to highlight this feedback, which I definitely agree with, so we'll be factoring that in moving forwards!
