Does the game scale for solo? Is there any real information about how the xp system works and how scaling works for group play?

Hi! Solo is currently a really rough experience that we’ve tried to message. Check out the “before you buy” section on our steam page (first section of text) to get a grasp of where we’re at. We’re planning on balancing the solo experience during early access with your help. While some are having fun already we have a lot to improve to get it as tight as we want it to be. So if you do decide to try it please share your feedback!

The nature of the AI where it tunnels on a single player also makes the dinos such as rexes a bit too much to navigate as solo once additional add spawns start joining the fight. Unless rex fights swap to a phase based fight where hollows can spawn during the rexes rest periods i believe the pure number of ai that join the fight is too much for solo without heavily relying on explosives.

Solo play also hinders build variety. The delay on shots for the carbine for instance makes it a no go for solo players. You need constant, reliable sustain damage or else you get overrun by pure numbers.

Thanks for the response, this feedback is a bit off the cuff so it isnt as refined as id wish it to be. But hopefully it reinforces some sentiments youve received from other solo feedback submissions that may be more actionable.
