Hey Pathfinders! We’re getting ready to release our first update to the Space Punks Early Access on Aug 17th, so we wanted to give you another taste of what to expect!
New Talents!
Get the skills to pay the bills, or, even better, have the skills to bail on the bill and eradicate anyone that tries to follow you! We’re bringing in the latest iteration of the talent system that will see a total of 126 talents, including 28 item talents, that let you unlock the full potential of your character!
The talent tree will be divided into three branches, offensive, utility, and defensive. Will you be a soldier, a scavenger, or a survivor? Maybe a bit of each? There will be a considerable amount of ways to customise your character to suit your play style.
Gear Upgrades!
This isn’t some arts and crafts festival, well, not unless your arts and crafts involve making weapons to decimate your enemies, in which case I guess it is an arts and crafts festival and can we come?
Visit the workbench at the Black Market and upgrade your favourite weapon, but like most things in Hoardspace, it ain’t free. It’s time to put all those materials and cash you’ve been hoarding to good use! For the right price, you’ll be able to upgrade your favourite piece of gear, making it all the more deadly; however, all good things must come to an end. There is a limit to how many times you can upgrade each piece, meaning you’ll eventually have to seek out something even more powerful.
Say hello to your little friend!
After some tinkering and bullet-filled negotiations with the manufacturer, companions are back and waiting in the Premium Store.
Interior Design!
Can you Feng Shui a space station? We’re willing to give it a shot. You’ll notice some of your favourite Devil’s Gambit locations and NPCs have moved around a bit, but they’re all happy with their new locations, don’t let them tell you otherwise.
You’ll also notice some new additions like neon lights, tables, chairs and more. What can we say? They bring a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ and definitely aren’t stuff we just had laying around in storage. Oh, feel free to bust a move at your favourite vendors; they should all be playing their own tunes for your listening pleasure.
