In playtesting have you guys noticed any issues with sorceries being to spammable/powerful in this mode? Easy fix would just to increase sorcery cooldowns in this mode, not saying its necessary but my first thought is wow, dragonfire/lightning sorcery meta incoming.

The mode definitely changes the impact of sorceries, in our opinion for the better (obviously). What I'll say is that standing still inside the capture radius for extended periods of time is not recommended heh.

If you get a "free boon" (due to having less than one charge on exile), you'll always respawn with 0% charge.

You do not get a free boon if you die to self/team/storm/vowguard. Only if another player exiles you. (You still have to wait for respawn regardless.)

With Spellslinger, if you pick up a gauntlet or rune that isn't in your inventory, it will be added to your hotbar.

There is a (fairly short) maximum height above the zone. Approximately levitation height.

They fire arcane magic shots (i.e. the default attack aka "the noodle").

Correct, the capture will be paused. The enemy also doesn't have to be inside the arena, just nearby (within a couple meters or so).

Teams with lower player count will get an decrease to their respawn timer. Obviously sub-ideal to have players leave mid-match, but ranked matches will have further penalties for leaving early (more details soon).

I have one major concern, though: is it possible for competitive tournaments to be broadcast on their stream? Example: Element wants to host a Dominion tournament. They want to have an official, commentated stream covering the action. To do that, they need a spectator. Is there any spectator options for Dominion? Because if not, that's a bummer for the competitive scene. I don't think it's an insurmountable issue, but it will invariably decrease the production quality of tournament streams.

No spectator mode for 3.0 launch, unfortunately. Definitely something we'll consider adding down the road though!

Dominion should take care of spell breaks problem of keeping people around, but that doesn't mean getting people here isn't another

There's always the chance that you didn't see more ads since you saw/clicked on other ads (there's a lot that goes into making ads efficient so you don't waste money by showing them to people who you already assume have converted). We did our biggest ad campaigns at/after launch, so if you haven't seen any since beta, you're likely just filtered out of the pool that sees them.

We unload the rest of the world when in Dominion (as it is hidden behind the red storm). Along with other Chapter 2 performance improvements, you should definitely see a difference.
