That looks like a DirectSound issue in Windows, not sone I've seen before. And being a standard MS driver there is not much tweaking we can do.

If you go to that driver in Device Manager does it find an updated driver?

If not, try uninstalling it then rebooting. Windows should see the hardware with no driver and suggest one; accept that and see if it works now.
