We are aware of an issue affecting Jedi Master Kenobi that appeared after today's update and are exploring a hotfix to correct the issue.

Today’s update brings Second Sister - the first character from the Inquisitorius faction - to Galaxy of Heroes! There’s also some info on Kyle Katarn shards, a new Omicron character ability update, and several fixes.

The Grand Arena Championship returns next week!

We are very excited about the participation and outcome of the first run of our new Skill Rating based system, and hope that you all have enjoyed it as much as we have. In order to maintain health and balance of this new system, each Season will begin with a "Skill Squish" of sorts. This will ensure that the range of Skill Rating numbers won’t massively expand over time, and keeps the ladders competitive.

In general, this will not have any impact on your Grand Arena experience. This will not change what Division or League are in. It will not impact your ability to reach the next Division (IE if you could win your next round and move up to the division you will still do so). It will not affect your daily rewards payouts.

There’s really not much it will change, but when you see your Skill Rating slightly change next week, now you know why.

We are aware of an issue with the Booby Traps Conquest modifier for Ewok squads that can cause a soft lock during battle. We are working to fix this as soon as possible and in the meantime, players should avoid these nodes if possible. We believe this soft lock is related to triggering the stun from the modifier but are still investigating.

Today's Server Update changes how scoring for empty Defensive slots works for all upcoming Grand Arena Championships. These changes were detailed in a previous post here.

We are currently investigating an interaction that allows Lord Vader + Maul squads to be consistently countered by an undersized Supreme Leader Kylo Ren squad with Nightsisters. This may require some balance changes in the future. We are currently examining if this is significant enough to warrant changes and if so, how to potentially address this issue. We will let you know of any upcoming changes in advance.

Today’s update brings the formidable, cunning Imperial commander, Iden Versio, to the holotables! Along with Iden, Carth Onasi will be getting an Omicron ability, we got some additive drops, some shards accelerating and shuffling, multiple fixes and updates have been implemented and more!

Additive Drops
For a limited time, Death Trooper has been added to all Fleet Battles nodes as bonus drops! During this event, the character's drop rate on each node has been scaled to Ship Energy.

Fleet Battles are rewarding bonus drops from 01/19 through 01/25.

A server update has been released to address the Leaderboard ranking issues. The Leaderboards should correct themselves over the upcoming weeks.

Please note that matchmaking is handled by an independent system and is NOT impacted by the current ordering on the Leaderboard.

We are aware of an issue in which the Grand Arenas leaderboards are not properly reflecting the ranking of some players.

Today's update extends the availability of the Marquee packs and bundles for Dash Rendar and Kyle Katarn to January 6th, 2022.

Also, for a limited time you can get 25% more bonus Crystals in the Crate of Crystals and Vault of Crystals in the Store.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are aware that Grand Arena Championship scoring is currently only awarding Banners for un-filled defenses if that Sector is completely cleared. This is not intended. In this updated format, Grand Arena is designed to give Players a reason to deploy their roster. Unfilled defenses should count as victories for the Attacker at the end of Round in order to prevent Banner denial via all-or-nothing defenses.

We are investigating a fix to update Banner calculations, and will let you know in advance when this will be occurring. In the interim, Players can deploy squads as they choose given the current (unintended) behavior -- it is not an exploit and will not be punished. The current season will continue to ensure all Players have access to their rewards, as well continue gathering information to ensure the rest of GAC is working as intended.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We are aware of an issue with Qui-Gon Jinn in Grand Arena where his Omicron upgrade is providing more Offense than intended. Currently when Qui-Gon Jinn is defeated, he is providing Jedi allies with excessive Offense on top of the 400% Offense boost based on his stats he is supposed to provide.

We are also aware of an issue that allows Mara Jade to take advantage of a particular character's AI (Jedi Knight Revan) on defense and perform better than intended against Jedi Master Luke squads. We are looking at potentially adjusting the AI of the impacted character or Mara Jade and would prefer this over changing the kit directly if possible.

We are currently investigating how to address both of these issues and will let you know of any upcoming changes in advance.

Today’s minor Title Update fixes an issue with redeeming Google Play Points. This Update coincides with a forced update and you will need to make sure you have the latest version from the app store to receive this fix.
