[2022] Question regarding Cross-Progression & TemTem Plus

Here's a little context to my dilemma. I started playing TemTem last year on PS5 through GameShare. A buddy had bought it and I played through probably 60% of the story. During Steam's recent sale, I picked up TemTem on PC. I went to GameStop and a buddy was kind enough to let me borrow a disc to try and transfer my save, but I didn't realize you NEEDED TemTem Plus to transfer. This leads me to my question.

If I were to purchase TemTem Plus on PC, will I still be able to transfer my save data over? Or would TemTem Plus have to be purchased on PS5? And vice versa, if I were to buy TemTem Plus on PS5, would I still reap the same benefits on my PC save?

Essentially I'm trying to move my save data over to PC permanently and I'm unsure of the best method to achieve this.
