What is your relationship with Mojang? I've seen Minecraft say "Also try Terraria", and Terraria say " Also try Minecraft!". We all Terraria players (and Minecraft players) know, that these game look similiar but are significantly different. While some people argue whether Minecraft or Terraria is better, in what way are you guys and Mojang connected?
Early on, just two indie devs supporting each other. Those text strings have been in game since the very early days. :)

We do not have a direct relationship, it is more of a mutual respect for one another.

I think that it isn't for me but I get the appeal and will respect that it helped inspire Red to make Terraria. Watching my daughter play it is pretty fun as well. :P
Hey I was wondering, have the team considered implementing cross play? I remember reading something about all platforms having to be 1.4 first however I’m still interested as to if there’s been any developments?
Once everyone gets to content parity, we are planning to work with our development partners at DR Studios to try and make crossplay a reality.
We cannot PROMISE it will work or be allowed... but we plan to give it all we have to make this dream come true.

Hey Devs! Just wanna say thanks for the game, it's really great and it's my personal favorite game of all time! As for my question, what was the plan for the thrower class (if there was any)? was it ever to be expanded on, or was it just a simple niche pre-hardmode class?
Once we realized that Zenith would basically be a thrown Swordarang, we realized that keeping throwing in would just make such a weapon implode the game.
So clearly, throwing had to go for the sake of humanity.

Hey relogic, love terraria so much, im playin tmod loader rn! since tmod loaders going to 1.4 and its free, and classic terraria costs money, will tmod loader start to cost money or can people just use tmod loader for free with 1.4?

We have no plans for TML to cost money. You need to have Terraria for TML to run.

Just recreate them yourself via the Control Editor - Stick Jump swipe - Autoswing on - Turn off ALL buttons and just leave the two sticks - Use and Aim On

Long Answer - the pre-1.3 controls were far to simplified and full of conflicts and overlaps as a result when you compare with what is needed for 1.3+.
Sorry but heres another question.
What were you guys planning for the Swamp, Hell and Candy biomes? I read in the wiki that they were supposed to be alternatives to the Jungle, Underworld and Hallow biomes respectively, but does that meant only one would exist on world creation? ex: If you get a Swamp biome, the Jungle biome wouldn't exist at all in that world.
The Swamp was intended to be an alternate to the Jungle. The initial design was done prior to us adding a lot of new content to the Jungle and it ended up being too large of an alternate to do. The Candy Biome was going to be the alternative to the Hallowed. Had this happened it would be similar to how the Crimson and Corruption work where you would only get one.
