[2020] I have heard the division community on PC is pumping! wondering if i should buy it on steam or UPLAY

I started playing the division on Xbox a few years ago and fell in love with the game! I loved the loot, the city, gear sets and the general feel of running around new york armed to the teeth.

I want to buy the division again on PC but its $45 (Aus) on steam and $30 on Uplay.

Is there much difference between the 2 communities or are they virtually the same? i would love your help!
