Hi!

When I’m starting the game it appears as normal at first, but when I come to the main menu I hear the music of it, but the screen on the TV is all black. I run the game on xbox one s.

I have updated the game, restarted the console in every possible way, and re-installed the game, but still the same problem.

Does anybody have the same problem? What can I do?

Thanks for posting about this, @navystingray367 - so, when starting Valhalla on your Xbox One, when it gets to the main menu, it's just black? That's most unusual, and I'd really like to help you get to the bottom of this. Can you answer the questions below for me?

  • Are you able to hear anything happening when you press buttons after the screen goes black?
  • Does the whole system lock up, or are you able to still use the Xbox' menus while the game is running?
  • Are you sharing the game to or from another account?
  • Do other games still work okay?


Once I've got answers to the above, I should be in a better position to advise you. Looking forward to your response!
