[2022] SlimDx error on Start. Can't launch the game :(

Please, try to check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking a proper installation of SlimDX tool. Also check if you have any kind of real times scanner fron your antivirus in your pc. Disable it and make a fresh intallation of SlimDX.

The most common problem when you get this kind of error log is because the installation of the SlimDX are not done properly. This usually is brought along by any program blocking the writting permission in the moment of the installation. Commonly this blocking program is the antivirus (real time scanners) or firewall.

Can you try to download the SlimDX installer and execute it as administrator?

Install directly in this path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\They Are Billions

The core of the issue is that the installation of SlimDX is not finished or not done properly. The questions is fiding what is blocking this installation.

Just for curiosity, is it your OS fully updated and how old is your OS installation?

So I finally found out. I reinstalled Windows and it works :D Thank you anyway
