Actually not true. As I type this Factorio has >6000 players, TAB has 2600 on Steam.
I enjoy both games, they are completely different but the Factorio devs are much more in contact with their community. One of the last things that young dev teams learn is the value of communication with their community. Good communication solves many issues before they become issues, and a happy community is an expanding community.
edited for typo.
Hello,
I'm here all the days answering users questions, taking note about their opinion, suggestions and ideas and taking care about the forum. So i don't undertand what you mean with "to be much more in contact with their community".

Results are more important. Being placated doesn't mean the game is improving. I just want the campaign. Not news about the campaign.
Making a Campaign is not an easy stuff, it takes long time. Dev team is giving you information when they have important things to say. It's not intersting for you if they have done internal game stuffs. Anyway they are giving from time to time information about how the campaign is going.
Thanks.
Regards.
