We want to have a better relationship with our community of course. Aqshy and I are working on ways we can do this and it will take time.

As for hoping we talk more about what's coming up, changing course on our current strategy of 'say little and deliver when it's ready' might take longer to move away from, but do understand that we both want to be more transparent about what's in the works, there's just a lot to factor in.

Players may be prompted to install a Microsoft Edge WebView2[blogs.windows.com] runtime on launch. This is a simple runtime installation used to provide web-based content in the launcher - it is not spyware, and will not install the Microsoft Edge browser.

For more information, please see Microsoft Edge WebView2 and Microsoft 365 Apps[docs.microsoft.com].

It's not installing Edge, but an edge runtime component. It's not spyware but a tiny component that helps the launcher render/function appropriately

We haven't made any regional adjustments for Vermintide 2.

Thing is, Adventure mode is very much well established in both form and overall difficulty. I think adding Grudge Monsters there would be received poorly by many, at least as they are now. Twitch Mode might work as an optional toggle. Or a weekly event. Or something opt in, in some capacity. But adding them to the game mode that's been there for years might rock the boat too much. Penny for people's thoughts though. I'm just spitballing.

The reddit poster took a comment out of context and there you go. :) The comment was made days before the reddit thread and was a banter comment in the middle of a cheeky, friendly back and forth, which was understood by participants in the dialogue.

We are still working on a system that allows for more flexibility with cosmetic colours, we just don't have any new-news on that front or when/if it can expect to hit the live game.

It becomes more important at the higher difficulties to spec out your bots for survivability. Whatever you equip to those characters, in terms of gear and talents, will transition to the bots (including career choices).

We were in charge of (temporarily?) unsanctioning the mod as it didn't work with the latest update. We could keep it in, and when it doesn't work, this thread changes to "why doesn't that mod work?!" from "Why remove it". Either way, end result is the same -- it just didn't work with the latest patch.

Is there an option to turn off rumble for PC game pad users?
It is possible to work around it.

For now you can add the line:

gamepad_rumble_enabled = false
in the 'user_settings.config' in %appdata%

It's all good :) Hopefully these mods see updates and we can greenlight them again.

The Custom Crosshair mod crashed the game on booting up.

The Crosshair Kill Confirmation mod spammed errors in to the console log, generating extreemely large logs and in some causes causing the game to spit and stutter as it struggles to take note of the vast amount of errors it generated to the logs.

As far as I am aware the Steam Inventory Service (which is what we use for newer premium items) cannot check if you already own an item from a bundle, so the price doesn't dynamically reduce should you own some content from a bundle already.

@ Hedge, a bit off topic but the guy has a point (L4D style VT1 maps). What about more VT1 maps via illusion dlc for example? i think the game could do with more maps personally and there was some cracking VT1 maps but not a complaint and just a suggestion....
