Hello! In this case, they’re completing the solo version of a main story quest and the loot is tied to an encounter. This happens with several other bosses, where their drops are tied to the quest.

What you get from this quest is random, but you should be able to buy the remaining items on the trading post!

We’ve identified what might be causing the issues with the spear and are currently working on and testing a fix. The downside to “desync” is that it’s a catch-all term for what is usually a different solution necessary per issue. We’re constantly finding the solutions thanks to your reports, feedback, and screenshots!
