Please do me a favor. Allow me to be able to talk with the community here so I can hear what they think/feel.

Trying to hand-tie me to a conversation I can't have just means you have a Community Manager that would rather NOT talk to the Community as a way to avoid potential problems. Part of my personal goal in this role is to foster conversation, instead of being a "Post twice a week" face that's not very present in the conversation.

In short, it's my job to represent my Community/Playerbase. To do that, I need to be able to talk with them.

I need to clarify this because the "Pay-to-Win" thing completely destroys the conversation.

"Pay-to-Win" is literally that. You pay money and you win because of it. Pay-to-Win kills games dead.

Premiums in our game aren't Pay-to-Win. Why? Because you can still lose in a premium just as easily as in anything else. They're all balanced to the same pla...

Realistic Answer: If it was an overwhelming majority, it would be hard to argue the point.

If it was 90-95% against, then there's a real situation to have to look at and evaluate.

If it was 60-70% against, then there's an interesting distribution of opinions, as you'll have a number that's going to dislike change regardless of issue. You can consider that a hardliner segment. If hardliners ended up amounting to 30% representative, then a 60% dislike would indicate 30% Non-HL Against and 40% Non-HL Pro/Neutral.

If it was 30-40% against, then there's a very different situation. The Against is made up of Hardliner and normal players, but it's at a relative percentage of a whole. 40% could be the Majority and outnumber 30% Pro and 30% Neutral, but it still indicates a 60%+ acceptance possibility, with more acceptance as things become known/accepted through association.

Polls are a scienc...

So here's the basic gist.

This is a "Web Portal Event", which means it's not an "In-Game Event". Because of this, there is a "Participate" button.

What does the Button do?

It causes our system to look at your account after the end of the event's window:

So, after January 9th, the system will run a check...

Did [Participant] play 10 Random Battles in the time window after hitting Participate?

If yes, go directly to Win. Collect 250 Community Tokens on January 19th.

---

There will then be a manual, human-being involved task:

If you have completed Step 1 AND have... Liked, Commented with your Name & Server, and Added the Hashtag...

then you will be entered into a drawing that an employee with have to do.

So the Step 2 is actually quite labor intensive as it's g...

Matchmaker doesn't have selection sets like that based on tier. The "bottom tier/top tier" selection criteria are noted in

To answer any of these questions directly would come off like an announcement, which is not what this post is doing.

Superships are present on live server in testing, so if you evaluate them to be Tier 11...

... then this should be something you've already made your mind up on.

------

If discussion of Superships involve a higher then Tier 10 level of "Service Cost", then that would simply be extending the current practice of: Tier 8 Service Cost < Tier 9 Service Cost < Tier 10 Service Cost.

---

Also, as this is important as an industry concept/term.

"Paywall" often means: A transaction requiring actual hard currency such as Dollars, Euros, etc...

"Service Cost" is an in-game cost with an in-game currency that can be earned through play.

There is a very hard difference between the two terms, so that's going to be helpful in this di...

Is this the experience of a Tier 9 ship? Is a Tier 9 ship always cannon-fodder for those who: Spend credits to play Tier 10 Tech Tree ships, play Tier 10 Special Ships, or Tier 10 Tech Tree Ships with Permacamos?

How are you getting a Pay-to-Win angle?

If the process was done to keep the RB Point collection purely on the Tech Tree line of ships, then it transferring to the Preussen would make perfect sense.

If that's what happened with the Moskva, then that'll be what happens in this case. Thank you for the information <3

What are you hoping for?

The three armament types in the game are: Guns, Torpedoes, and Planes.

There's a rather large variety of difference in each of those areas~

Were you hoping for a new category?

Neustra is all about the MASSIVE healing potential. Because of that she's not really an offensive threat so much as a "Contesting Presence" Destroyer.

You can use the low detection to dip your toe in a cap that might have Radar coverage or a nearby DD. If you get detected, you can often get out and use your massive heals to fix yourself back up and get back to pressuring the frontline again.

So, I'd like to ask some questions to you two (and the rest of the players out there)

If SuperShips are treated as "Tier 11" and get matchmade with Tier 9 through 11:

a) Does that change T1 - T8? Aren't all of those tiers still untouched and playable? Isn't this section of the game the same?

b) Why does it devalue Tier 10? People play and enjoy Tier 9 everyday, even though it is "devalued" by Tier 10's existence. What is it that makes this case different?

c) Are there Superships in the game now that you feel are too powerful? If so, why?

-----------

This is more of a general feedback/topic inquiry sort of thing. Please, keep it classy as I'm looking to get some concentrated feedback since this is the third or fourth time I've read these thoughts in the past week or so.

There's an Operations channel in game you can use to find pre-made groups for them. That'll be the safest bet for flagging up, as opposed to purely random groups.

Edit: RB point redemption flags stay on the Tech Tree places in the line. So they would be on the Preussen after the change date.

So, you get the Khaba back when the change happens, so selling her prior to it happening was a way for players to get credits.

The addition of the Credits here is a way to formalize that. Instead of having players sell it just to get it back, it's easier to just gift them credits and avoid them the hassle.

This way you don't have to Discmount/Remount modules, either <3
