Hi u/Aoibhell! This will be fixed in a future update! It should only affect the first match after you launch Fortnite and the following matches should flush you into the started island as you would expect. Sorry about this!
Hey u/pinballmanfan! FPS will cap when the device reaches a certain temperature, or the battery is low. This may be what is causing your phone to lock at 55 FPS.
Bro my game crashes and freezes every 2 minutes so don't pull up the "well you're lucky, at least you can play the game"

I’m pretty sure it’s only fixing the bug where your fps would split in half. I don’t think 90 is back. Correct me if I’m wrong
It doesn't fix 90fps missing on Tab S7, we are still working on that one.
I'm so confused right now i have a snap dragon 460 which according to google isn't that bad of a chip set for gaming and should run 30 fps smoothly but for some Reason since the db update it stays on 20 fps and to add to that even before the update, on 30 fps it would drop to 20 in pubs it use to run just fine but ever since the android 10 update it got f**ked. I'm just so sad cause even though I have a switch and a PC i cant get use to it so I'm hoping smthn changes soon

Bro he sent a twitter link to them fixing the half fps bug.. Nothing about compatibility mode still being enabled on tab s7 was addressed, after this update were just gonna have 120hz 60fps again with the hitches/freezing that makes BR unplayable

If you let it load does it eventually load you into the match? Even if it takes awhile?
