Game crashes on startup when the "snowdrop" logo animation is shown.
Already updated my drivers (AMD to v20.2.2, using a rx5700xt), game was running just fine until this update. Any ideas or tips to get it running?
Are you using DirectX 12 by any chance? We are seeing some reports and want to identify if it's the underlying issue.

I see a lot of confusion around this and we'll see if we can get more clarification on the intent. Keep in mind that we sometimes make changes that not everybody will like but that are part of a bigger revamp.
I'm missing one of the legacy cache items. I bought a key but when I try to open the box I just get a message that says "expired".
Hey! This should be fixed now. The cache accidentally tried to offer duplicate items. As that's not part of the rule set, Legacy Caches do not give you duplicate items, it returned the "expired" error.
Oh that's a big change to not be called out in the patch notes.
Yeah, that's on me. I actually had received the info but when compiling the Patch Notes I somehow lost track of it. I apologize this is a pretty significant change and we did not want to hide it or anything. My fault.
does dismantling turrets mid use no longer reduce cooldown or is it a bug?
This was an oversight on my side. It is on purpose and it's now reflected in the Patch Notes. Apologies.
My character is locked out of new york. After already getting to level 31. "This character no longer has access to war lords of new york" does anyone no what's going on
Can you give us a bit more details on this, please? What platform are you playing on and when did you purchase the expansion? Could you also DM me your Uplay and platform name (e.g. console username).
That also applies to anybody who has the same issue!
My two biggest questions:
- SHD levels apply for everyone, not just owners of the expansion?
- Faster movement and skill usage was mentioned about a month ago in relation to this patch. I didn't see it in the patch notes above. Did that get added?

You have to finish the New York campaign and reach Level 40. After that you can mix and match with lower level players in non-NY activities.

I don't understand the question. If you're asking when you'll be able to upgrade them to Level 40 with Blueprints, no info on that yet. As we said previously we will likely offer that option down the line but for now it should be about hunting new loot.
There's anything new about optimization? I'm having problems with my setup and I can't identify the problem (RX 570, R3 2200G, 2X4 GB RAM)
No clue, that's more something for the support. I do know that new graphics drivers were released yesterday.
It wouldn’t work for me, I went off to do something else, died and respawned - then it worked. Maybe the reload was the trigger. I didn’t quit/restart at all
It basically needs you to find a server instance that is not borked. How you get there is pretty much not important, re-logging and fast travelling should just do server instance transfers.

Because it requires a new server build I'm afraid. The fix also is not as simple as it might seem. The team here is working on it.

Yes. We likely won't have a new server build ready until tomorrow. Some players are stating that re-logging or fast travelling back and forth can make the community leaders work again. Additionally you can activate any of the investigations of the 4 lieutenants just by going to the area, so if one does not work you can try another clue hunt.
We'll keep you updated but it likely will require a maintenance tomorrow morning.
Are we safe to play on console? It won't be taken down due to early release will it?

Relog did not work for me, fast travel to another place then back to the safehouse fixed it for me however.

Hey guys. We are aware of the issue and our team is working on a fix. We have seen some players saying that restarting the game will fix this. I know this is a bit painful for PC players that might receive an ECHO when trying to login again.
Can a console player maybe confirm if restarting the game or logout / login will help?
This was a lot of work and I'm sure there are still things missing. If you see anything in-game that's not here or if you think something else is missing poke me!

It's not going to be sold. We want to make it available via gameplay but haven't ironed out the details for it yet. We also want to avoid sitting out the Season being the best way to get the Skill.

Just want to point out that when you buy the expansion you get a Level 30 Character Boost you can apply to current and new characters. That pushes you to Level 30 World Tier 5 and you can jump into New York immediately.
So, even if you don't make it to WT5 by March 3rd, you can still use the boost then and hop right into Manhattan if you want.
