It sounds like there might be an issue with the Steam configuration for PS4 controllers. Can you try something for me when you have the chance? 

 

Open up your Steam Settings and then go to Controller. From there go to General Controller Settings, and see if the option for PlayStation Configuration Support is checked. If it is, try unchecking it then launch Apex Legends and see if that helps.

Have you tried repairing the game to see if that helps? If you're on Origin you can repair by right-clicking on Apex Legends in the Library and selecting the Repair option from the menu.

This can happen sometimes when there's a rank reset. If you play a few ranked matches on your own the ranks should eventually sync back up so you can queue with your friends.

Right, that's what I meant. Apologies for being unclear on that. 

 

Try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC, then launch Apex Legends. See if you're still running into any crashes that way.

We're looking into the Battlepass purchase issues alongside the other issues that are currently happening. The overall connection problems are most likely affecting the store as well. I'd say give it some time, and once the main issues are fixed hopefully the Battlepass will come through on its own.

If you try changing the settings back is it not saving them when you shut down the game? If that's the case there's probably something that's blocking Apex Legends from writing to the files where it keeps your settings changes. 

 

Please double-check and make sure there's an exception for Apex Legends in your security software. Also, if you're on a Windows admin account try running Apex Legends as and administrator and see if the settings changes are kept afterward.

That's really strange. I've seen this happen on PC because of permissions issues, but I don't know if I've ever seen it happen on PS4. 

 

Have you tried rebuilding the database on your PS4 to see if that helps at all? If you start up your PS4 in Safe Mode you'll see the Rebuild Database option on the menu. Please give that a try and let me know if you're still having any trouble with the settings not saving.
