Not at all, I think you are right on the mark there! This split flew by! The first split for Season 8 indeed ended today and should be back up again soon if not already by now which is accompanied by a soft reset for everybody which probably affected you two @Minkpels ...

Although cross-play is indeed in place, cross-platform account progression is unfortunately not a thing at this time.
I unfortunately have no further update on whether this will be possible in the future but it unfortunately isn't as easy (as you mention, a lot of moving pieces) as you can imagine with some purchases being made via the Xbox Store while others are via the PS store and/or Origin/Steam/etc.
If this does change we'd of course let you all know but at this time it's unfortunately not a possible.

So trying to buy them via the Origin version of the game does not work either for you then? Did you already contact us before via EA Help over either chat or social media just to make sure nothing looks odd on our end on the account stopping this?
