Yes, stuff is being done. I've watched people get banned. It's just a topic that we can't talk about publicly for a number of reasons.

A good 6-7 IP addresses were pasted in the chat by this player out of nowhere.
Players using illegitimate third party utilities and tools spoofing their names as ADMIN has been encountered in the past and DICE has said they looked into it then, seems it's still an issue. They don't show up on the scoreboard either so finding them and reporting them in-game is not possible.
Just a note but we are aware. To caveat, we don't believe someone is getting ADMIN rights, it's just a name thing. Neither do we have reason to believe these were actual IP addresses being sent out.

I love behind the scenes stuff like this. I wish the devs themselves would share it with us, but they don't bother with it.
Did you know the FO dreadnought we see on D'Qar is just a low poly pizza with a highly detailed texture over it? Here's the dreadnought model, and here's the texture. It can only look good from that specific camera angle.
A look at some of the replies in this thread are an indication of why devs don't showcase more stuff like this.
