Coming this month are two brand new ways to play, Co-Op and Instant Action. A brand new planet, Felucia and the Clone Commando also joins the conflict as a new reinforcement. It all arrives on September 25, let’s take a look.
Hi Ben, 2 quick questions:
Dennis said they we’re going to be able to pick our faction in October. Does that mean we are going to be locked to the Clones for now, or that OT/ST is coming?
More of a long shot here, but any updates on local multiplayer? I remember Dennis saying “we have to ensure we're hitting our performance targets on all platforms”. Does that just mean PS4/Xbox one? Just curious how that’s going.

October you'll be able to play defence on each planet, right now it's only attack. Meaning you only have the option of playing one faction per planet.
Nothing on local multiplayer. It's not just console, but the vast majority of PCs are not running an i9 + 2080Ti setup.
It's talking about the end of the year. "Lots more to come and we finish the year with The Rise of Skywalker content."

You could increase the area of play for Geonosis HvV! Let me respawn towards the final phase area. Heck, maybe just set the respawn zone on another planet. I want the match to be over by the time my team can regroup. /s
We're currently looking at the respawn points on Geonosis HvV.
It should still be live. The rotation of the front menu tile on Battlefront II might refresh so check after a fresh load or two. I'll check in to see if there's anything on our side stopping it from being shown.
Follow up to this, just confirmed that the offer is still running within Star Wars Battlefront II.
