Sorry you didn’t receive a response on your previous post.

This was escalated to another department to look in to, but there’s been no update on the case yet.

I’m happy to assist with a refund, if you would rather take that option.

I’ve restored the weapon.

Regrettably, I’m not able to award Aquilas on request or create custom promotions.

I’ve sent you a DM.

Try switching to Windows Defender, and disable your third party Anti-Virus/Firewall.

I suspect your installation is broken. Could you try reinstalling Darktide please?

Comment

This should be resolved with our most recent hotfix.

Comment

To confirm, does it work as expected on the ‘Modded’ realm?

Please make sure you don’t have the same Curio equipped in separate slots. This is a known issue causing problems with the saving of loadouts.

Could you see if deleting your AppData works to resolve this?:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory

You may then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Could you try the workaround above? Being on the Microsoft Store, the path to your Darktide AppData will look like this instead:

AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore

Are you playing Darktide from a PC used for work?

Good to know deleting the AppData worked - I was under the impression it didn’t. Thank you!

Could you try now, please?

We’re looking in to it!

Sorry about this.

Comment

It might be because you have the same Curio equipped in separate slots, which is an issue preventing the saving of loadouts correctly.

Indeed, your crash is also due to the DRM on your PC. I’m not sure what the interaction is exactly.
