Sorry to hear this. If you could please upload the corresponding console log, I can raise this with our Backend Engineers.

Please disable the Overwolf Overlay.

Would you be able to disable your mods, and send me a crash report with mods disabled please? There is some mod-related spam, so it would be helpful to eliminate that.

Hmmm, do you have the option to connect your PC to a mobile hotspot? Only for a short period, to see if the issue persists.

I ask as this can help in isolating the issue, but I understand it isn’t always an option!

Comment

Unfortunately no, due to compatibility issues with the current release.

Hello! I can see you have purchased the ‘Ortun Carvale’ set for Veteran, and the items have been added to your inventory as expected.

Shortly prior to this, the ‘Saleon Interrix’ set for Zealot was purchased. Was this intentional?

Comment

Our developers are looking in to this. Thank you for your report!

Comment

It was not included in 1.1.12, but will be in 1.1.20.

Head to your Steam library, right-click Darktide and select ‘Properties’ → ‘Installed Files’. What happens if you try to move your installation via Steam’s own ‘Move install folder’ option?

Thank you! This is a code-related issue, and I can see there is already an investigation open on it, so I hope you won’t have to wait long for a resolution.

My apologies for the delay, I’ve had a look at your account I can see the key has been redeemed successfully and the items appear to be in your inventory. You’ll want to visit the Barber-Chirurgeon and select ‘Modify Appearance’ → ‘Body Tattoos’.

Great! Thank you.

Have you already tried removing your AppData?

If you haven’t already, I recommend it as it looks like it’s corrupted.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire Darktide directory

Yes! As long as it was purchased via Steam, please contact me over at https://fatshark.se/support.

My initial concern here would be that it was still attempting to make a connection with the nearest server to Malaysia, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s attempting to establish a connection to nearby servers as expected.

Our Backend Engineers are out at the moment, so I’m not able to query this with them right now unfortunately. But in the mean time, could you try clearing your DNS?:

  1. Run the Command Prompt as an administrator
  2. Enter the command:
    ipconfig /flushdns
  3. Restart your PC

Could you try disabling your mods, and see if there’s any improvement please?

Comment

There is a lot of weirdness in the log, it’s possibly mod spam but I’ve queried it with our developers. Many of my colleagues are on vacation at the moment, so I’m not sure when I’ll receive a response admittedly.

In the mean time, it would be appreciated if you could upload a log from a session with mods disabled, so we can eliminate any mod-related spam.

The developer that handles issues of this nature is regrettably away at current, but I will re-raise this with him upon his return.

However, I’m happy to assist with a refund for anybody experiencing this issue.

Could you include the URL to your Steam profile also, please?

Hmm, so the log is cut short it seems! Could you upload your darktide_launcher.log please?
