Heads up: we’re clarifying the definition of a Season.

Previously, a Season was expected to come with a larger release of content and game changes. Upon reflection, we never really defined what a season was. The only consistent feature of a Season was the reset of Winds of Magic leaderboards, a reshuffle of the Weaves and fresh Portrait Frames for Weave challenges. Going forward, this will be the definition of a Season.

Not a 'feature' no. Could be couple things, like level has that marked as hidden place even if it isn't, since those are generated there are some false positives or it could have been that it was requested to spawn long time ago but it managed to do it now, we only check for good spawn location when we queue it, but sometimes it takes a while and players get to the location before we spawn the enemy.

the ledges are one problem, yes, but they need as much info as they can get to nail down the other stuff.

so like, yes to posting bugs on the reddit, no to acting as if fatshark doesn't know/care about the issues

This thread alone is good info, created a bug report for the level design team. People can tell us bots are yeeting themselves off cliffs, but seeing the cliff with yeeted bots helps as it's usually something to do with the set up at a particular spot.

(edit on topic) This is helpful for me, for us. Rarely is this magic captured. We read a far few anecodes but rarely is it seen to beautifully in the flesh like this. Noted, passed on, and stick waved.)

I mean, it cant return after a patch if we never originally "fixed" it as, well, there's nothing to fix. The director can spawn 2 specials at the same time, and sometimes they'll spawn at the same spot if there's no other suitable spot to spawn them. Not ideal of course, but better than the alternative.

to add: this wasn't added in an update, this has been the way since day 0.

Yeah we can make them 360 no scope, we can make them mechanical masterminds with relative ease. Getting them to be in the pocket between ok and preferably replaced by a person is tricky. Not to say there in the right place right now but it's just more a fun anecdote and part of what we aim for with our bots.

This thread is getting a bit spicey. Lets wind it back a bit and not get too personal. Feel free to weigh on the pros/cons of it all, but there is no right answer to the question of should we/shouldn’t we. We don’t have any immediate plans to add more achievements, though.
