I bet you’ve all noticed that our stout, comradely dwarf – while stout as ever – ain’t exactly been as comradely of late. Locked himself up in his room. All kinds of weird banging and the like coming from within. Also been a bit, well, short with everyone, hasn’t he? And Olesya says he’s even stopped eating her candles. Not exactly the Bardin Gorreksson we’ve come to know and love. Well, I’ve done a bit of asking around, and I think I know why.

I don’t have to remind any of you that our recent trip to Castle Drachenfels, while a roaring success – and thanks for that – stirred the pot, shall we say? Old memories dredged up, and all that. Never mind how I know, I just know, all right? Let’s just say that Cousin Okri told me.

So I seem to have been able to get the points store working. Hoorah! I don’t yet know how to put in anything but emoticons and wallpapers since it seems connected to the Trading Cards at the moment, which have limited options. I’ll keep digging.

To tap in to that quote, It isn’t possible for us to boost inventories much, if at all, but what might be possible is converting items that aren’t customisable (such as hats, frames, skins) in to different buckets in the backend service, like we did for illusions.

Sure, deeds aren’t customisable from the front end, but they are “custom” items, which is why those will likely remain unchanged until a time comes where we look at the system as a whole.

It is easy to think that this is a way for us to just deliver less, but it honestly is a way for us to deliver without having to move Seasonal dates.
