  1. There is a cap, and a cap-cap, I believe. I don’t think it’s entirely intended however. We intentionally have the cap lower than the max it can be to avoid potential issues that could arise, and allow for expansion in the future if truly needed. (in thinking more on this, I believe the cap may be 750 items, and the cap-cap 1000).
  2. It’s on my wishlist for sure. It’s been one of those QOL changes which hits a roadblock with our intent to look at that system as a whole, an intent we haven’t yet quite got around to giving a big push.

I had a dig about in there, I have to say it’s not particularly intuitive. Doesn’t seem to be much control we have over putting things in the Points Store. I’ll email Valve and see if they have any pointers.

The limit is around 1000 items last I checked, which is a fair amount of stuff to be hoarding up. The worst offenders for hogging space now would be cosmetics and deeds. We have added ways players can more quickly salvage their stockpiles of items in recent weeks which can help those who had a big old pile of trash they couldn’t face breaking down.

We don’t have plans to increase the storage capacity of inventories. The difference between V1 where inventories were limitless and V2 where they’re capped is in V1 we used our own backend system, and in V2 we use a third party platform for it where you can’t just add limitless data.

This is a good thing, V1 inventories could get so large that the player could no longer log in. :expressionless:

Unfortunately Terry no longer works with us. We can't go in to too much detail for obvious reasons but lets just say he was in to more than just trading cards.

The free week(end) and current 5 year stuff doesn’t preclude a Geheimnisnacht event, even if it’s not all whistles and bells.

I will point out when we have offered frames in the past, we have been met with “omg a frame so lazy” so Adelion isn’t far off the mark. Everyone wants a bit of something different from the next, and sometimes they want it all. It’s hard to get it right every time

In order to get those items in bundles in regions with lower regional pricing we did have to increase their base price, so they fell within the Valve required ‘average price per item’ index they use. Sucks :frowning:

Players in some regions aren’t able to get these bundles at the moment. Steam has a rule that the average price of an item after discount in a bundle must be above a certain $ threshold when re-converted back from the regional currency. Some regional prices result in the average price per item in these bundles not meeting that threshold and as such they are unavailable in those regions. We’re checking if we can somehow fix this.

Did you get to chat with Tarrant? He always struck me as a kind of nice “fatherly” type of chap!

How was cooking for Gary Rhodes? Stressful or just another day?

If love to meet William Shatner, his Seeking Major Tom album was absolutely off the hook!

I made Paul Merton a cup of tea once.

I went to school with Gareth Barry.

I saw Eddie Izzard at a shopping mall but he was on the phone and I didn’t wanna be that guy :joy_cat:

The queen was driven past my house? Does that count?

I… Yeah no that’s it. I guess the answer is ‘No’.

I’m excluding industry names as I feel it’s cheating but I’ve met folks like Mike Morhaime, Frank Pierce and co. - and had soundtracks signed by the legend Russel Brower. I don’t count them as technically they were colleagues so meeting them is cheating

I don’t think we’ve interacted with this system yet, it kind of sprung up on us! I’ll have a poke about!

Ah interesting cheers.

I should say this is by no means a dig at the game- this pareto like distribution is common to all games, it's the reason I have little to none hours on the majority of my steam games, and a ton of hours on just a few (V2 included).

For example, in perhaps the most similar game L4D2 less than 40% of purchasers have completed the first campaign on any difficulty. Several of the other campaigns stand at less than 20% of purchasers. Any steam game or personal steam library shows the same pattern.

Yes absolutely! No shade felt from our end! It's just another contributing factor.

I've also not played 55% of the games I own on Steam (to my absolute horror, but some of them are just not my cup of tea and came in bundles).

That data (2.9% players have all chars 30+) is certainly thrown out by the fast turnover in lower levels and large number of people who buy the game and barely play it, or play it a bit and quit. As a result, active playerbase will differ significantly from the actual full number of people who own the game. I mean v2 has sold 2m+ copies but only has 3-4k players active at a time.

For example, out of everyone that bought the game, 20% didn't even complete the prologue, only half have completed 'Act 1' and 75% have not beaten skittergate on veteran difficulty. It's a safe bet that most of the 75% are inactive.

Not that it makes much off a difference but there was a bug for a while where players didn't get the prologue achievement - and it wasn't uncommon a bug either. Some veterans still don't have it (they would get it if they ran the prologue again since the bug was fixed however).

Any news that this bundle will be available.on Xbox or PS?

I've checked and there is no bundle.

Sadly the bundle only works on Steam this time around.

Thank you fatshark for creating 2 games that literally changed my life.

When I was in a bad place for a couple of years, your game (predominantly vt2) was my only escape. It allowed me to find people to talk to, make friends, have so many crazy fun times, laughing our asses off and sharing all our stories whether they were personal or game-related. Your game has also been such a creative outlet for me, inspiring all my weird memes, videos and fan art.

I have had both an unhealthy and a healthy relationship with VT2. The addiction is real! XD

But ultimately your game allowed me to build an amazing friendship over the last 2 & 1/2 years with one particular person, and then out of the blue, something we never expected happened.. we fell for each other.

So it’s 3 weeks until he comes to meet me in person for the first time, and we are crazy excited.

I couldn’t be more grateful to you Fatshark for this game that changed my entire life. :) Tha...
