Looks like Steam went down last night, sorry for that. Should be solved now though!
Steam is imploding - perhaps Dota related. They're on the case.
The last couple of weeks have been shorter due to public holidays. Sometimes I can’t just write updates alone and need some input from others so I’d rather not put an update out than put out a nothingburger update.
Hey! sorry again. This week was a bank holiday on the Thursday withy a lot of people taking a Squeeze Day on the Friday. It makes for getting develoepr updates on the Friday a bit tricker. We've not stopped with them, just been a couple of short weeks with other priorities on the "on days".
A couple of days ago we put out an update which fixed the login crash some players experienced. Today we’re putting ...
Read moreI assume they're still getting it ready. I kind of expect a delay. I'm scared to delete my save too, as irrational as that may be. It can't hurt to just sit tight and wait. I don't want to miss any shilling opportunities though. The saves are stored on their servers though. It's similar to something like the Division.
The patch is out now
I don't even remember the line in question but that's the flimsiest excuse I think I've ever heard. Kerillian and Sienna sound nothing alike.
First I've heard of it!
We are aware of an issue with a crash affecting many users in the latest update. We’re fixing the crash issue right now, but in the meanwhile there is a workaround.
NOTE: This workaround will not work for OFFLINE PLAY.
If you play ONLINE, you can go to “Manage game & add-ons” in the xbox dashboard -> Go to the “Save Data” tab and select the icon with our logo and your name on it -> Press start/options and select “delete save data” -> Select “delete everywhere”.
This will reset all your settings within the game but won’t affect your progress at all since it’s stored in our backend.
To reiterate; This only works for online play. Doing this workaround WILL REMOVE YOUR OFFLINE SAVE . We are working to resolve this without the need to delete the local save, so please hold tight if you wish to keep offline progression intact.
We will update here when we have information on the hotfix.

Thank you for this, I've been hyped for this update so I'm glad I can check it out!

The PS4 was included in that event yep! It wasn’t an in-game even t hence nothing in the event tab. You should have seen the counter on all loading screens though?
Sigmar bless this shitpost
This is without a doubt a great, great sh*tpost. Probably one of my favourites.
Sadly the crash you have has a veritable shed load of reasons, and isn't particularly indicative of which reason just from the surface. We've got a comprehensive list of things that have worked in the past at the above link. I would pay special attention to the Worker Thread advice (I see you're on a Ryzen) as well as potentially overclocks as well, but do try to run through a lot of the steps if you dont find success with those two mentioned.
Thanks a lot, Hedge! Without going into detail, are those pieces new hats and such or also something bigger?
There's some of that, but some bigger bits in the works also.
Just been a very busy week this week I'm afraid, we've not had time to put one together.
Consoles: are in submission, but it's looking like the releases for PS4 and Xbox (the Drachenfels and Emporium update) will be staggered (i.e wont be at the same time as each other). If this is the case then we will ship whichever platform is ready and approved first.
Versus: no news at this time, we're still working away on it. As per previous statements, we probably announced it a bit too soon.
Future content - we'll have some more on that when we can. We have a fair few bits and pieces in the works and will confirm those once we're more confident with the state of them and the potential release window (see point 2 for why that might be). Some of them wont be a surprise (we've talked about them in the past) and some will be (we've not talked about them at all), but until we can talk about them we can't talk about them.
Looks like you're missing a DLL.
Try running the .exe from the binaries folder, it will probably throw a dll error. It's uuuuuusually this one:
This is stonking good. Nice one!
