I did a quick research to find out where these cheaters get their stuff from, which lead to a public forum in which I took the screenshot above. This dude is _selling_ a PC hack for a monthly fee since october 2018, and he still is.

I don't want to blame anyone, and I'm tagging /u/FoxhoundFPS & /u/ATVIAssist just for visibility. I'm a developer myself and I get that things like anti-cheats can take time to improve. But I'm a bit shocked that a cheat findable in a public post in a public forum (with 950+ post interactions) is not noticed by Treyarch. This dude (and others, I guess) are literally getting paid by ruining your game and your (paying) players experience.

I reported to Treyarch this user and post privatel...

Doing nothing will make it die sooner.

This has never been the case. Any and all information you have sent to us has been forwarded to the appropriate teams and we're actively monitoring and enforcing.

The constant "they don't do anything" or "they don't care" approach you take across most of your posts is exactly why I distance my engagements with you. There are only so many positive engagements I can take with someone who consistently asserts that "nothing" is done before I simply stop engaging. You've certainly reached that point.

Have a good day, /u/aur0n.

Responding to this one since it's first in the chain.

  • Thank you for sharing these videos. I'll forward them to our team.
  • Make sure you're reporting in-game too. Reporting in-game supplies us with all necessary information immediately to perform investigations.
  • Let's try to keep reports like this, multi-part / multi-perspective / multi-reports, into a single thread for context. Though we don't manage this space, I could see where you're likely breaking some form of frequency guideline. Let's make it easy for everyone involved.

A common, but incorrect assessment. There's also no video here.

I too have played COD since COD1 and was a fan until BO1 when I effectively joined Activision. The system works and has improved over every title, but investigations take time because the goal is to make the right decision. The process of investigations through a queue becomes lost on those who browse any forum and see a blatant violation of our policies/terms. The swift answer to that is that if they have been reported, then they are in the queue and will receive an investigation. Any additional forwarding on my part is a simple courtesy to move the evidence straight to the team. As I have stated here and before, commentary on an investigation to action is a fair criticism but does not render reporting ineffective.

Reporting in-game is a default action one should always take if any policy/term violations are suspected or alleged. We have banned far more players through in-game reporting and routine enf...

TKs like this are a quick ticket to getting reported for griefing. Find some players to squad up with that fit the playstyle you want.

Posting to share that I've seen the thread and will forward it to our team.

General reminder for all, please report in-game as well. Reporting in-game supplies all of the relevant information to perform investigations. Thanks.

Players that are sending the video to you need to report in-game.

Players have been sharing videos to me lately that come from third parties and often don't include timetables or additional information which would be helpful. A recent thread included infractions which were upward of 20 days ago which limits the ability to present the additional data in a meaningful way to our team.

So please do advise those who forward to you to report in-game. All of the necessary information is captured at that moment.

Thank you for the tag. Unfortunately, the OP's video is in a third-person perspective which limits its usefulness. The in-game report they filed will be enough for an investigation, however.

Just letting you know that I'm only associated with Treyarch titles. Regardless of what Call of Duty tile you're on though, reporting in-game is always a surefire way to get the most information to a studio possible.

Always have to ask in the event of PC + platform controller. The only time I know it’s 100% PC is if telemetry is present.

We do. Team killing is not in the spirit of the game and I'll pass it along to our team.

/u/TroyMcClure1986, what platform is this? Let's also try to steer clear of insults in the title. I understand being heated, but this is just a bit much.

Thank you for taking the time to share some sense with the community. I pass along most of what I see or am notified of, sometimes Reddit's tagging system fails, but I don't always have the time to comment or have a meaningful update. In situations where I can't respond, players can take their issues to ATVIAssist too which all filters into the same studio.

The reaction of "so you can respond to this, but not that" is exhausting and the user in question, unfortunately, has a tendency to frame most of their comments toward me in a similar light. It's ultimately resulted in my chosen avoidance of this person.

I do my best to carry as many concerns and feedback to our studio, but I am disheartened by those who can't take a moment to enjoy the fun that this game undoubtedly brings in what should be a positive thread.

This ended up a bit longer than I expected. TL;DR, thanks for being sensible. (Chimichangas are delicious and I'd hire you for having good taste.)

Updating to share that we released an update this morning which should address this issue. Please restart your game if you've been playing since earlier this morning. Let me know if you run into any additional issues. Thanks!

Great threat prioritization! Really appreciated the flow from fight to fight too.

It's actually a clear violation of our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Security & Enforcement Policy and will be submitted to our team. I'm going to grab a screenshot of the image/report and have the moderators of this subreddit close the thread/remove the image so that we limit the visibility of the action.

As always, reporting in-game is the best course of action as it provides all of the information necessary to investigate and enforce in one submission. Thank you again for the additional report.

Yeah, understood. It was originally clipped on Twitch by KiGuNiiN, another Twitch streamer https://clips.twitch.tv/SpeedySullenButterShazBotstix

It was clipped 20 days ago so probably occurred around then.

This thread presents the information and video as occurring very recently. Thanks for sharing the additional details to point to when it actually happened. In the future, please try to craft the thread to paint a better timeline and include details such as dates/times.

If you encounter someone teaming in-game you can report there too as that information will be captured immediately with the report.
