Sorry to hear you’re having this issue! Please try to repair the game through Steam.

If that doesn’t help, please add any files in C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes to a .zip file and upload them here so we can look into this.

Sorry to hear you’re having this issue! Could you please post a log file from a game session where this problem occurs?

Each time you restart the game the Player-prev.log is deleted and the old Player.log is copied to Player-prev.log, so make sure the log file is from the right session.

This will be fixed in our next update, 0.7.9. Thanks for the report!

Sorry about this! Unfortunately, I don’t see any information about a crash in those log files. Can you check if there are any crash reports in this location? Upload them as a .zip if so. C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes

Unfortunately if your entire PC is shutting off there isn’t likely to be much information logged. It could also point to a potential hardware issue such as a power supply that doesn’t deliver enough watts, but that isn’t extremely likely.

Thanks, I did try again for some more time and was able to reproduce the issue. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but we’ll look into it.

This is a known bug that we haven’t had the chance to release a fix for yet. Thanks!

It might not be making a crash report then. You could upload your log files instead, which should have some info as to what’s happening.

Looking at your DxDiag, it seems you have a HD 6800 series graphics card. Unfortunately, that’s below the graphics cards we list in our ...

Your AppData folder might be hidden by default. If you enable “Hidden Items” in the view tab of File Explorer you should be able to find it (making sure to use your actual account name).

Alternatively, you can press the Windows key and R key at the same time, type in the word appdata and hit enter, then navigate to the Crashes folder. Just add everything there to a .zip and attach it to your next post, or a file sharing site if it’s too big.

I tried walking over those spots while I had ward and all damage was dealt to my ward before my health. Could you please upload screenshots of your skill trees, passives and items to a site like imgur.com?

I realize that’s a bit of a hassle, but the best way to determine what’s going on is to re-create your character myself. Thanks!

Thin Veil was changed to not reduce damage, but the tooltip wasn’t properly updated. I’ve fixed the tooltip issues and made a note of the other bug. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ve confirmed this isn’t working and made a note of it. The node also only affects Earth Spikes, so I’ve corrected the tooltip.

Ah my mistake. The item is bugged in 0.7.8f, but it’s since been fixed internally. It will work correctly in 0.7.9. Thanks!

Thanks, good catch. I’ve updated the node text.
