Thanks-- I’ve reproduced the bug on my end. In the meantime, if you un-minimize the quest tracker before turning in quests you shouldn’t have any issues. Restarting the game may also clear it.
Sorry about the late response here! Could you please upload your log file if this is still happening? There should be an actual error code so I’m not sure what’s happening.
Sorry about this! We’re still looking into the problem, but for now restarting the game avoids this issue for most people.
Is your display mode in game Exclusive Fullscreen, Maximized Window, or Windowed?

Apologies for the delay. If you add the logs to a .zip file it should be small enough to upload. However if you’ve started the launcher since it will be overwritten.
If you prefer, you can redeen steam access instead, and not use our standalone launcher.
Sorry about this! Unfortunately we can’t restore any data as it is all stored locally.
However, we do have a fix planned for release that should prevent game or PC crashes from deleting data.
Moving to a different thread since that last one is old.
Could you also post your game’s log file and which model of hard drive or SSD you have the game installed on? If the log file isn’t generated, that means the game is failing on the first part of the process.
Patch 0.7.7 improves loading times but has not been released for Linux because we’re waiting on an update for software the game depends on, so if you’re willing to wait that may resolve the issue.

We’re still working on resolving crashing issues-- we have leads but no solutions to release yet.
However, we do expect to release an update soon that will fix an issue where game or PC crashes could delete data.
Any characters affected by this problem cannot be recovered, unfortunately. Sorry about the troubles!
