Thanks for the update! Hard drives will have drastically slower load times than an SSD-- I would expect your total load time to be less than 30 seconds on an SSD. However, 20 minutes is obviously excessive.

We would like to improve load times, though the load time you’re seeing on a hard drive is an exception, rather than the rule. In my experience loading from a hard drive was slower, but didn’t take more than a minute. Slower load times can be caused by other apps using your hard drive, or if it’s very old / beginning to degrade.

Thanks for the report-- unfortunately the algorithm for sorting wasn’t updated to account for the new sizes of items that can exist due to the introduction of Idols. We found this issue internally some time after 0.7.6c and have corrected it. A fix will be included in 0.7.7.

We’ve improved how the skill cooldown sound is played, and this won’t be an issue in 0.7.7. Thanks for the report!

I spent some time testing with the Summon Skeleton tree you posted, plus having Mages sacrifice and a Bone Golem up, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. Unfortunately there’s just too many variables, so I can’t really put more time into it right now.

If anyone else encounters this issue, please post all your skill trees and passives. Thanks!

I don’t think there’s a bug here, just a bit of misunderstanding (and lack of clarity on our part). If you watch your character sheet until you run out of Ward (shown above the health globe), your stats should return to normal, as they did when I tested.

The amount of protection you have is the second number under each damage type in the character sheet. Protections increase how much effective health you have against that damage type, which results in you taking a percentage less damage. This percentage is automatically calculated for you in the character sheet.

When you gain Ward (from Flame Ward or otherwise), your total health pool (health + ward) increases, but the amount of protections you have stays the same. This means the percentage goes down, because you have more health.

We do plan to explain this better, but hopefully this helps!

I’ve tested this internally, and found that when Descend (Smite) is proc’d, the player is not moved at all if they are stationary. If the player is moving when Descend is proc’d, they are moved slightly, I believe to the location Smite was cast from (it takes time to hit). Rebuke is indeed cancelled.

I don’t know if there is a reasonable way for us to clean up this interaction. Personally I would just not have Descend do anything in this scenario if possible. I’ve made a note of this internally.

Thanks!

I’ve tested this internally, and have found that the node actually isn’t working. The visual does fade out a bit quickly, so I’ll ask for that to be adjusted too. The base duration of Fissure is 3 seconds.

Thanks for the report!

I’ve tested Sword of Rahyeh and found that it does get triggered by Sigils of Hope, or any other Spell that you directly cast. It isn’t triggered by Divine Bolt, so I’ll check if it’s supposed to or not.

The ignite chance buff from Sword of Rahyeh won’t show up in your character sheet either way, because the character sheet only shows your ignite chance that applies to all skills, while Sword of Rahyeh applies only to melee skills. We do plan to improve how much information is available in the future.

They’re actually experiencing a different bug that you, because their log file looks different.

The game content of the Standalone and Steam are the same, so I think their issue was solved by the fact that they re-installed the game, rather than moving from Steam to Standalone.

I’ve replied to your thread as well-- let’s continue there. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about this! From looking at the log, the game itself isn’t crashing-- Windows seems to be deciding it isn’t responding and closes it.

We’re aware that initial load times are quite high for some users, especially if the game is on a hard drive instead of an SSD. Please try waiting for the game to load without doing anything else on your computer (I do realize this isn’t ideal).

If that doesn’t work, I would recommend trying this support article. Thanks!

Thanks for the report-- I’ve confirmed this issue internally.

Comment

Thanks for the detailed report, I’ve reproduced the issue and noted it internally.

Comment

I’m not able to reproduce this issue with unspecialized skills-- can you please post your skill trees for Bone Golem, Summon Skeleton and Summon Skeleton Mage?

Is this issue happening consistently if you summon the Bone Golem before the other skeletons, or only sometimes? Has it happened if the Bone Golem isn’t summoned first?

Thanks!

Thanks for the report-- I agree that this seems like a bug given the wording, I’ll bring it up to the skills team.

Sorry to hear about this! I’ve looked at your output_log and it indicates an additional crash log was created at C:/Users/ECCLES~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes. Please upload the one that matches the time of the output_log you just posted (multiple crash reports are kept).

If you haven’t already, I would recommend following this support article. I haven’t heard of the game failing to be recognized by steam outright, so I can’t give more specific advice unfortunately.

If the problem persists after ve...

Thanks for the report, I’ve made a note for this to be looked into.

Thanks for the report-- this is a known issue.

Sorry about that! Could you please upload a screenshot (to a site such as imgur.com) if you encounter this issue or similar again? Make sure it includes the name of the zone.

These bugs are typically easy to fix, but we need to know where it’s happening.

Thanks!

@Arethwyn is correct-- when you take no damage from a block, the Block pop-up is not displayed. I think that’s a bug itself, but The Slab is working as intended. Thanks for the report!
