u/JagexJD on mobile, when switching items from inventory or other tabs with other items in the bank I've had items turn invisible and "vanish" from my bank instead of swap. Usually when it's trying to push an item to the side instead of flat out swap. Though I've seen 3 people say their items have vanished completely whereas mine were found through the search bar exclusively.
Edit - I don't know how to record my screen on my s8 phone so I'm hoping someone can replicate it through my explanation.

I found this on another post, hope it helps -Did you have bank placeholders turned off? When I had placeholders off I ran into a similar bug that deleted my Diviner's robes when I took them out of my bank, and then all my other items in my bank moved 5-6 places to the left, some items even into previous tabs. I left placeholders on since then and just manually deleted the placeholders and haven't run into the issue again.
The OP of the post who reported the same bug advised this sounds just like what happened to him resulting in items being turned into runes
We've tried a lot of repro steps with placeholders on and off, with no dice at the moment. Thank you for sharing!

EDIT: if anyone has been affected, please DM me your display name and how it happened in as much detail as possible, it'd be much-appreciated as we try to reproduce the bug.
UPDATE: we've spent the evening trying to reproduce the bug mentioned, with no success as yet. However, we will continue to monitor this issue and any other problems players may experience that could be connected to it. We've identified a minor bug that is bank-related but doesn't seem to cause the issue in question.
Thanks to those who have provided us with information thus far - please keep it coming in if you experience any problems, and we'll regroup tomorrow morning.

Literally, every week, the winner is someone that has some form of Runescape in their username, or is an RS influencer of some sort, or has more than a certain amount of follower. It's not fair to everyone else who isn't an influencer making videos and promoting your game. Some of us just like to play and don't have a following. Stop playing favorites and pick normal people too.
I can answer this one and say we use a tool to randomly choose a winner each week.

We're aware that some characters and pets appear washed out on particular map squares and we have established a fix for this which we will roll out in the new year. The issue is related to incorrect environment maps applied to some of our map squares. These will be corrected and the fixes will be released in batches (we'll let you know when they're released in the Patch Notes!)
