Hey. Let me see if I can help for you.

Please DM me and I'll see what I can do (as others have noted, we had a similar post earlier in the year).

LEGO Zulrah is my new favourite thing. Congrats on getting your trophy, and thanks for your contribution.

I will investigate.

Quick note: as far as I'm aware, we hadn't changed any auto-moderation to what it would be on a usual stream (spamming and all caps/overuse of emojis).

All the best to Meadows - we've loved having in the CM team for the past 18 months, and we wish him all the success in his future endeavours!

It's never nice saying goodbye. Don't worry though, we'll be looking to bring in another great Community Manager to support you guys moving forward.

(Incidentally, if you're interested in joining the Jagex family, then the job listing will be live on the Jagex website in the very near future. Good luck!)

Hi everyone. For all those following this thread, here's our company statement (cross-posted from another thread).

Hi everyone.

When Jagex was invited to participate in the UK government’s inquiry into immersive and addictive technologies, we were happy to contribute as a voice that can educate and inform, especially to those outside of the gaming sector such as policy makers. We love to explain why games such as RuneScape are popular, fun and a hugely positive part of many players’ lives. As the first games company to openly share its information, policies, procedures, and thoughts with the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee, we were able to provide clear insight into our games and talk about the many processes and programmes that we put in place to help safeguard and support our players.

We want to continue to contribute and help to inform the ongoing discussion relating to the health and safety of all people who enjoy playing games of all types, and will cooperate closely with UKIE and all other relevant parties to ensure a positive outcome from the DCMS Select Comm...

When will people realize that 120 skills are just grind for the sake of keeping them there? Why not provide us with actual content, things that are fun and varied?

I agree that 120s for 120s' sake aren't useful - I think what /u/JagexOsborne was trying to get across is that if 120s were to happen, that there would be a reason for training the skill to that level (extra rewards, varied content, etc.)

Wow, this is lengthy pre-recorded content for you guys. Seems like a big commitment and I hope to see more in the near future.

Definitely worth pausing my white noise at work to listen to! Thanks for sharing.

It's certainly a meaty video!

The plan is to produce at least 4 of these videos, introducing the new 4-team structure for RS, as Mod Osborne alluded to in this week's Q&A (this is the Episodic Content team's turn) - and we'll carry them on if we need to discuss large projects with the community.

Golden Gnomes are on the Friday night, and the Stage sessions are on the Saturday.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, it seems the segment talking about future content is only 45 minutes... That's kind of disappointing. Weren't they a bit longer in previous years? It seems like new content should be the highlight of the show. Either there's not much content planned to be talked about, or they're going to be doing a rapid-fire, bare bones slideshow about possible updates. Neither is ideal.

For example, you could easily talk about an upcoming quest's story and maybe even the rewards for like 3 minutes. You could talk about the weapon diversity thing for 10 minutes easily, hopefully. 45 minutes just doesn't seem like enough time to properly talk about updates, unless there's not many, or we're not getting much info. :S

This might be the first Runefest I'm not looking forward to seeing... still, I hope everyone has fun. Don't let all of our whining stop you from enjoying what'll hopefully be an awesome community event!

Hey - this is why we've added in the post-reveals panel talk (6-7pm), so JMods can answer your questions and elaborate on the reveals.

(Also, for context, the RS Reveals last year were around 35 mins - this year, we're struggling to contain it within 45 mins).

Plan is this Friday, but it's a pretty hefty beast (first edit came out at about 35 mins), so that's a lot of editing and audio work to get done!

We'll keep you posted if there are any changes to that plan.

I wish they showed more screenshots of the new UI that actually show the menus, but I suppose we'll see in a few hours. Cautiously optimistic that they've made it so that it's fewer awkward boxes that only extend two-thirds down the screen and you have to scroll to access, and made them actually scale.

Really I just want to be able to resize things (like the minimap, so that it's square) in ways that make it more convenient for the task that I'm doing, rather than try and cram all the combat stuff in the UI when it's not being used.

There have been a lot of (very exciting) changes - we wanted to give you a little taster now, but obviously the proof is in you guys actually playing it. Again, we'd love any feedback you have.

Any idea when we can see the results?

Tagging in /u/JagexOsborne - we were discussing potentially RuneFest, but more likely in the weeks after.

Thank you in advance for your time spent filling out the survey. We'll be analysing the results in the coming weeks, and we hope it'll enable us to continue to create content that gets your pulses racing in the near (and distant) future.
