The best place to self isolate is in Gielinor.

Currently Archaeology can still be expected on the 30th of March.
We're taking additional measures to ensure we can deliver on March the 30th, but at the same time we don't know what impact Covid-19 will have on our studio. We're reassessing it every day and will keep all of you informed.

Nope, there will be enough other tasks you can do in the mean time (the additional archaeology tasks will become available when archaeology lauches)
With how lore heavy archeology is, will there be new quests on launch?
There will be some MQC requirements and there will more than enough lore to discover! So hopefully that will make you enjoy the skill!

I just want to clarify that changes that went into the release of 24th of Feb have had nothing to do with the players visiting our studio for LGBT History month on the 21st of Feb.

You mean to say you are cold fixing an mtx events graphical bug, but could never coldfix the pvm bugs that ever came with a Mondays update??
It's a graphical bug for the majority of players, but there are also a smaller portion of players experiencing client crashes or are unable to log-in as a result. Hence we decided to go for a cold fix.
This doesn't look good, it might be a side effect from the recent warm fix we applied in an attempt to fix something else. Apologies for the inconvenience and we hope to resolve the issue at 2PM game time.
