Just wanted to pop in and acknowledge this thread although I haven’t had time to read it all yet, I will bookmark it so I can go through it in the next week or 2.

Currently we’re sort of looking at this area again - communication and transparency.

We’re reviewing the beta program again, in more depth this time, maybe ideas around better communication or an idea of a “council” could be integrated some way into the beta program. I will read up on this thread over the next week or 2 to see if there’s anything we could integrate. We’ll also be looking at how other games do it well and what we can do to emulate that within our scope.

For now, I just got back to work today after having the flu all week and other team members have been out sick as well so next week will mostly be catch up work then we can get into it more.

Hey Folks, the missing items were sent to those affected on Monday Aussie time.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you here, I was wiped out with the flu so off work.

The Gnome spawn rate definitely seems correct for a Vault event.

I’m not aware of anything we’ve done that would drop the Kingdom battlecrasher spawn rate too low for #10 today vs any other day.

It doesn’t appear as though there’s an issue currently and certainly nothing has been changed that would touch battlecrasher spawn rates - the number of reports is what is making me sus and getting the sanity check.

It’s currently after 7:30pm on Friday here so I won’t be able to reply immediately but I will check back to see if I have a reply from the team later tonight/in the morning. Assume it’s working as intended unless you see me pop back in this thread.

If anything IS wrong the team will fix it, I may just be slower on the communicating that back to you if I don’t see the ping (need to go afk to grab dinner).

I can’t even imagine working for a company and not just saying “You want XYZ because of ABC? NOTED, let me see what we can do about that” when it comes to accessibility. Like hey, your privelage is showing D: I mean there’s stuff that can take awhile or maybe the solution won’t be exactly what was proposed but it still solves the problem, but I would not come back with a dead end “no” answer - it’s not really up for debate.

I do think the games industry is pretty switched on about this stuff, they definitely teach it to artists and designers in game dev school here.

Just a note that unfortunately fixing the incorrect rewards for players who already earned them is taking longer than we initially anticipated but we are still on the case and I will post an update when I have one both here and in the Known Issue article for this issue.

Hey just an update:

We’ve fixed this in the Campaign so anyone who hadn’t earned those Rewards yet will now earn the correct ones.

For everyone who had already earned those Campaign levels before the fix went out today, we are still working on fixing up your items for you. I’ll update you again when that is done!

That makes you one hell of a hardcore GoW player that’s for sure @beeflog . I also haven’t ever seen this happen before for GoW. I didn’t realise OLEDs could have burn in issues like the old screens so I was honestly expecting you to reply you play on PC with a really old monitor or an old tv.

I suspect this issue was caused by long game sessions but you haven’t prevented the display turning off after x amount of time of inactivity in the phone settings have you? I would definitely turn that back on if it’s disabled.

I’ve shared the image with the dev team in case there’s something there we can look into.

Hey unfortunately this is a known issue. It happens to the last few brackets in Guild Wars where too many Guilds are added to the brackets.

It’s a visual issue only, so the Guilds that score 0 points won’t actually get ranked 1st in the brackets.

I’ve added this latest info to the existing bug report for the development team.

We’re very sorry for this. It will be fixed within 48 hours.

I never even really looked at those buttons properly, but I tend to play windowed on PC and just hit the X button. I’m bringing this one up to the team

Also, I also wondered if I’d ever notice someone playing GoW on the train to work or something, I’d get a little kick out of it.

I LITERALLY did the same thing why do we have babies on our mind? I don’t have kids lol
