What’ll happens to maps when a new update comes out? Do civilizations glitch out and do I have to start a new world?
Yeah, we try to not to break the saves. But sometimes they act a bit derpy to adjust to a new logic for some time.

No mods installed. Did install some maps from the workshop that I have since unsubscribed from due to superstition that it would fix it. It didn’t. Windowed mode seemed to help a bit but I had to make the window the size of what mobile would look like. However, the entire ordeal has become far more complicated because now it only does the vertical lines and flickering when I’m in the nature or creature tabs. I can quickly grab something from one of those tabs and switch to the terrain tab and it goes away. I haven’t the slightest clue what it could be. Thanks for the help though!
Wow, never seen this issue before.
Can you make a video?
Can also try to update video drivers, but you probably already did
Did you install any mods? What if you launch in window mode? Do you still have these issues then?
Funny story.
Before considering adding water ships, I thought of creating a mode of transportation called "crabsport"("crab" + "transport").
It would have been much easier to implement and would have greatly improved performance, as crabsport could travel on both water and land without requiring complex pathfinding.
But it seemed a bit too silly. And so, here we are, without crabsport.
It's actually an old bug, that left as a feature.
Your thought is on fire today
We plan to rework cultures in general a bit later this year.
Heh
Interesting, so as I understand it, when the world loads up after applying the update, every current king will no longer be king?
They will stay to be a king/leader. But will start a new bloodline with 1 member in it(themselves)
I’m curious to see how this will affect the already established kingdoms in worlds we’ve already made
Like me, I have a 6,555 year old world, I wonder how that’ll work with clans
It will be fine, but will be a bit chaotic yeah.
Every living king/leader on old saves will create a new clan on load.
yes, I have tried but got no helpful response
What was their response?
When we will have news about the release we will make an announcement. For now the best we can say - when it's done.
