I'm a BB main! I don't usually get the luxury of turning on a dime!

These are things I definitely was not aware of, but I think this comes along with the territory of playing at a higher level, which I definitely am not doing yet. I am going to be saving this knowledge for when I am ready to hover in the higher tiers regularly, so thank you!
Also, secondary specs you say? Hmm.

You bring up some interesting points about the economics here. I have 1 Steel Camo that I have been trying to figure out where to put, and the GK might end up being the place it goes after reading this!

If you're fairly certain you've encountered a bug, we'd like to encourage you to submit it to the Game Support section of the WoWS ticket queues, within a section where bugs are asked for, or to create a post within this sub-forum.

Remove your mods and try again before sending in a bug report as mods tend to be the culprit. YES we know we have made it automatic, but we state this anyways as sometimes players will find a work around.

DO NOT just move your old mods into the new mods folder, make sure they are updated!

Welcome to this week’s edition of the New Player Captain's Log! For those of you who aren't sure what this is or what it might do, feel free to check out the introductory post here.

Without further ado, let’s proceed with Week 16!

Accomplishments
There’s a lot of similar things to last few weeks, but nonetheless, here’s a list of personal milestones that I hit during the week:

1. Played the German, Italian and French BB lines in Tiers 4-6
2. Purchased the Grosser Kurfurst with coal, marking my first coal purchase

Same refrain from previous weeks: my focus points for this week are largely the same, as I still want to put a lot of time into my play in lower to mid tiers before I move on to tackling higher tier play:

I sympathize with you strongly, lol. I haven't played too much DD outside of co-op or protected matchmaking because when I do, I am absolutely stomped haha.

I know I need to do this for sure. I am still stuck in my comfort class just because it is the one I understand most, but when I have the time (which...lol) I need to start investing some time in cruisers/DDs at the same level so my overall knowledge can increase.

This excellent to know. Since I am focusing on these middle tiers to develop my skills a bit more (Tiers 5-6), I'll have to get used to the floatiness for now. I'm still quite enjoying the French BBs so far despite that, so that's all well and good!

Ahh, my apologies. I saw another thread talking about the forum events specifically and thought this thread was discussing the same thing. Sorry for that misunderstanding.

I understand what you're saying here. Even though I previously responded thinking this was about the forum event, the answer is very similar. I'll be sure to pass this along to our team members, as we don't want our players to feel the rewards don't justify the missions. As mentioned before, can't make any promises, but you have been heard and it will be brought up.

Just responded to you on another thread, but appreciate you taking the time to make your opinion known on this! This specific format of the forum events is relatively new so feedback is definitely encouraged as these events continue to grow. You've definitely been heard and we will see if we are able to adjust the prizing in the future. As mentioned on the other post, no promises but we will certainly look into it.

Hey there! Thanks for the feedback. We started up these forum contests again after they had been previously retired some time ago, and we wanted to see what turnout would be like once the format was changed slightly (weekly to monthly, different prize structure). The first few events we have done have been sort of a proof of concept. We'll be happy to pass these points along to our other team members and see if any changes can be made going forward. No promises, and they might not be immediate, but we will certainly try!

Yeah! And since I am not a competitive player or anything, Steel is a pretty hard resource to come by, so this made sense to me!
