Hey, just wanted to say that we have added this track back in better quality. + 3 more tracks. :)
Thank you for sharing your feedback. If I may ask... what else would you like to see (speaking of rewards)?
Hey here,
Just wanted to say "Thank you!" for all your feedback. Devs are looking into it.
Read moreHi Miva,
As many other people have pointed out on reddit the rewards are very lacking for what is expected from a Grandmaster quest. Other than a few occasions, past grandmaster quests offered a significant reward which changed how people played the game whether its through skilling, combat, or access to areas which provide other benefits. Many of those rewards are super relevant to this day.
Here's a quick summary of significant non-xp rewards from other Grandmaster quest:
Past Grandmaster Quest Rewards
Quest Year Reward While Guthix Sleeps 2008 Tormented Demons (new dragon items), Elite black armour, Dagon'hai robes, access to various areas Nomad's Requiem 2010 Soul Wars cape, Soul Wars respawn point, new Bloodwood tree The Void Stares Back 2010 Korasi's sword, Elite void knight ...
Thank you. Really love how constructive this message is.
I also want to add that the next two updates will require "Extinction" as a prerequisite.
Hi all, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We really appreciate it. Keep it up and don't forget to give constructive feedback. Thank you in advance!
Is there anyone else thinking that what we currently think are the rewards, are not? I feel like there is no way the rewards would be some very, VERY slow xp after a GRANDMASTER quest.
I also just took a review of the stream they did on Friday and Mod Shrike was afraid of giving out spoilers from the rewards and the only spoiler that I could think of right now would be that the materials for the base camp on Anachronia can be used to gain xp which hardly sounds like a spoiler at all to me.
Me saying this is also me kind of expecting something "great" from Jagex which I have learned not to expect - but at the same time this just can't be it.... Can it?
Thank you for sharing your feedback. If I may ask... what else would you like to see (speaking of rewards)?
I won't give a full review yet, but:
The lore, music, and visuals were all great. The gameplay had some really great moments especially with Erebus, but the flow kept being interrupted by talking to NPCs in 5 different areas and repeating the same key points.
As for post-quest content and continuity on the game world, it feels like a complete joke and a slap in the face. 0 design and 0 effort thrown into it.
Hey ImRubic,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. It will be great to hear more about "post quest content". What don't you like? Thank you in advance!
Will only 5 retro skins be added to the game, or is Jagex open to adding more from this list in the future?
At least Jagex is using the in-game polling system.
The current plan is to add a "Community Bundle" that consists of top voted 5 skins.
Shame there's no metallic weapons listed, or regular D'hides.
Also this isn't an April Fool's bamboozle, right? RIGHT????
It is not. :)
Recently we asked for your suggestions for new retro cosmetics, and by crikey did you have some fantastic ideas!
From iconic outfits to wicked weapons, our inbox has been absolutely stuffed with innovative options to consider. You are truly brilliant, you know that?
After sifting through hundreds of entries, we have painstakingly trimmed the list down to the Top 20 most requested items, and now it's up to you to decide which of them will make it into the final 'Community Bundle' of five must-have goodies.
Here's the list, in no particular order:
Eggtremely eggcited to eggperience this eggcellent quest
This is brilliant.
Congratulations! :)
What an eggstraordinary idea!
Every adventurer needs a few essentials to succeed in Gielinor. Strength, courage, wit, honour – and of course, snazzy in-game items!
Where would we be without our trusty tunics, dashing capes and dazzling headgear? Somewhere a lot less stylish, that’s for sure. Whether you’re a fashionscape fanatic or just want to look tough when you take on the bosses, collecting items is a key part of the RuneScape experience. It’s your reward for all that hard work (and tangible evidence you kicked butt on your latest quest, natch).
Our lovely community always has a ton of ideas for new cosmetics, too. We’ve received some incredibly imaginative player suggestions for new skins over the years, and we know you’ve been asking to get involved in the process.
Now, we’re handing over the creative reins. Yep, we’re calling on you to nominate retro skin cosmetics you would like to see in RuneScape!
This will be a process with a few steps, but the first b...
