So, I understand this and I can totally appreciate that you want to “put your money where your mouth is” but, what I don’t understand is why you guys are refusing to talk about things not tied to chapter 5. Things like the team balancer that was brought up by David as a top priority before he went on leave and Tank body customization which has had a “Soon” button on it for 11 months. If they’re tied to chapter 5 then by all means say that but right now they’re two topics that are being totally ignored. If they’re going to be included topics in the Letters from the front that’s cool too, but please bring us in from the dark a bit.
They're not ignored in terms of us seeing that these are still expectations that you have, and that you're notifying us have not been delivered on (alongside the commentary around Anti-Cheat, seeing Private Games come to Battlefield V, various cosmetics that have featured in past trailers), but perfectly to your point these things need more than just indications like 'top priority' and 'soon' to restore the confidence and quiet the noise.
Nothing would please me more than to lift the curtain but too many bad expectations have been set, and promises broken. Hopefully the last two updates (4.4 and 4.6) have demonstrated that there's plenty of quality being put into the updates, beyond just the new maps that have featured. This is something that is absolutely set to continue with 5.0 and the rest of the updates that will feature this side of the Holidays.
