This is FANTASTIC!
This is FANTASTIC!
Is the work done now and you would be able to implement it in regular rocket league? Or are there still hurdles to jump?
Oh I couldn't comment on any of that. All I meant was that from the technical it was quite a challenge to get working. 😊 Lots of fun though!

It is way more complicated than you would think.
So what do you guys use the most over there? Maya?
3ds Max
Does this mean that (at least some of) the wheels in Rocket League are made in Blender?
I don't think any of the wheels I made in Blender have been released yet, but yes, ultimately that's a true statement.
Ohhh awesome! Can't wait until the final release of 2.8. Awesome work!
You and me both. I think this will be me until July when 2.80 is "final".
Amazing 🙌, always fun to see industry people using blender, we have a dedicated slack channel at work for blender users haha. And thank you so much. Love your work.
You're welcome! Fan art is some of the highest praise I think we can get (maybe I'm just biased as an artist?) so I really appreciate you sharing these.
Sorry I didn’t mention it earlier. All done in blender 2.8!
Fellow Blender 2.80 user and wheel creator here. These are pretty neat! Nice job!
/u/psyonix_eric What do you think? Not bad eh :D
I love it!! It's so ridiculous but I love it for that reason. :)
Actual doctor's won't disclose the reason why you need the absence. Get him to re-write it.
For what it's worth, I've struggled with mental health issues as well. I'm opening up about this because we DO care deeply about our player-base, and I want you to know we're human, too, and that we sometimes suffer as well.
I'm glad our customer care team was able to help you! If you feel you need to seek professional help then please do - there's no shame in it (as is often the way it's made out to be). I got professional help when I was in need of it and it was a great help to me, and I'm happy to admit that I did seek help.
Wow, thank you! This means a lot coming from you. You made my favorite car! It's the only one I have a miniature of.
Thanks! I'm happy to share a mutual appreciation for each other's art then. :)
That is incredibly well done!
Just curious do you still have any of the early concept versions of the cars? Would love to see them!
When we made SARPBC there were only 10 of us in the company, and a concept artist was not one of them. These cars just evolved as I worked on them and got feedback from people.
:'(
I love Scarab since SARPBC, I wish you the best things in life sir
Thanks, friend. :)
What was your inspiration for this thing of beauty?
It was 11 years ago but I think it was something like...
"Wait, they want me to make HOW MANY cars?!"
Nah, just kidding. Honestly I just liked that it was unique and fun and that the wheels connected differently than they normally would in a car.
As the person who made the original Scarab for SARPBC you're my new favorite person.
We're all Psyonix on the inside
Thanks. :)
