Compare this to other games where people wait weeks for an update of any kind just get fed PR filtered garbage. We are blessed compared to most other games, especially ones with as much history and success as Rocket League.
If Ted is avoiding commenting on this particular issue then I expect it's because Psyonix are not yet sure if the season needs to be extended. They may be tight to the deadline and unsure if they will have everything ready in time, but still think there's a good chance.

In regards to the Skyline, this is a known issue and they should be equippable again starting next update. Apex fix for BMW will be coming slightly later but is coming as well.
This just sounds like people will adjust and start to pretend to play to avoid a ban.
That would definitely be an issue if they knew how we analyzed the gameplay. However, I'm going to keep things intentionally ambiguous for that reason.

Honestly? In the last year, maybe one or two people total. I make an effort to say hello to everyone when a match starts. When the match ends I hang out to say thanks for the game and chat for a couple of seconds.
Also, I'm not very good, so it's not like it's an untrue statement ;)

Hey! We know this is an annoying issue. /u/MuskratAtWork is correct in that it is an issue with Game Bar taking focus. However, we ARE currently working on a fix for this which is currently slated for the update after next.
