I know this isn't the point, but you won't be put in a match that has a goal difference of more than 2 since the casual changes were introduced.
I actually think you should have the opportunity to leave for free whenever you get backfilled into a game. It's not fair for matchmaking to stick you in something you didn't ask for, and then threaten to ban you when it couldn't put you in a good match. You want people not to treat casual as disposable? I would expect this to go pretty far down the list of fixes. Just as long as they're made aware, that's really all you can ask. The rest is up to them (unless of course you get a 10k upvote post on reddit, then they're pretty much right on it the next morning).

This was actually quite an easy fix. Should be going out in October!
Very interesting. Definitely seems to be unintended behavior. Might be caused by how the map itself is built geometry-wise.

Likely unintended. I'll bring it up to see what's doing that/if anything can be done about it
