😅yeah. Well the platform determines the amount of toxic people. Don't know anything about Xbox but ps4 does not have many toxic players.

That's not what my time on PS4 taught me. You can go on either platform without running into it indefinitely. I hope you never find it

Very well, although everything she said was untrue, this can be validated by the comment history, and even you yourself. Did I ask you to give me credit?

I'm just asking everybody to keep arguments within respectful boundaries. I don't like having to lock threads when the comment section takes a turn

Welcome to Bless Unleashed. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do

Taking a shot at the admin in your first post (I'm a youtuber who reminds people it isn't Bless Online, not to trash on the game tho) might not be the best way to say hello, but I'll overlook it ;)

I would love to see a pvp toggle starting right away at level 1, so you could pvp anywhere, anytime with no NPC interference, but if you don't want to pvp at all you can just leave it toggled off and be immune everywhere

If this is your first character and you're looking to solo right away, my recommendations are:
Mage
Crusader
Priest
Ranger
Berserker
in that order. Zerkers are great for solo after you grind them up and get them the gear for it, but they have slow animations, suck at dodging and play like a remote control brick. Mage is agile and does a ton of ranged damage. Sader just as agile but melee with higher defense. Priest is great for soloing because you can heal yourself. Saves money on potions.

No, only the weekly bosses have timers. Respawn timers for most bosses are 28 minutes, so if we need a specific one we often just wait a bit

Thanks I'm glad you find it useful^

Okay, I’m understanding now that ideally I would get my weapon to a higher mythic enhancement level before everything else, but I face a different dilemma at that point. For the same amount of resources, is it cheaper to outright but a mythic +5 weapon from the market? A Mythic +3 Stormblade with 2 white runes for example is a bit less than 1.2 Million Star Seeds right now. I feel like you can easily rack that up in upgrade costs. Does anyone have a general rule that they go by for judging the cost investment?

Also, are there any general thresholds for Attack, Defense, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage that I should be aiming for later on?

If you've got the star seeds it's often a good idea to get any mythic5 weapon from the market and use it until you have the resources to get the weapon you actually want

Use the common enhancer until your gear hits legendary, then start failstacking https://youtu.be/OGzcUCtZR3k

I don't go in much and it's been a while since my last RB, but it does seem like often people are so focused on getting kills and assists that they forget all about the actual objective you need to win

Ergo. If you are not of that race and u enter you can be attacked . But you have no reason to enter these area as missions are give in both race areas . The pvp players can go and attack who they like but eventually get ganged up on and moved out .pvp arenas has to be gear limited I can not belive its not how crazy you can have a noob first time in there coming up against a alt fully myth out . ridiculous at least if the noob was in with c gear or B gear score lvl they could have a few hits in before they get moooshed. That's just my little opinion. OK for the noob questions . After entering a disputed area am I at risk from everyone or do I have to turn on "pvp" as not once have I been attacked in a disputed area . Ps4 euro

You cannot opt out of pvp in disputed areas, but you need to activate pvp mode before you can initiate an attack on other players

When Bless Unleashed was just a design document, before any actual physical development was happening, it had no open world pvp. In conception, BU was a just open world pve. One day designers were sitting around the table discussing what they could do to give players in higher-level areas a heightened sense of anxiety and danger. They added pvp in the open world for that purpose, essentially tagging pvp onto an already conceptualized pve world. This is why the game feels incomplete to people coming in expecting a full pvp experience, and feels abrasive to people expecting to find a typical pve game.

What you're seeing now is a process of devs trying to complete and find a balance for the system. So if you're here for just the pvp, may I suggest fortnite?

Red basin being divided into level categories is ridiculous in a game where gear score is so much more important than level. They should just lump everyone together or divide it into gear score categories.

Yes that is true, but I also feel as a preferred content creator that you should try and evaluate the content fully and accurately before releasing negative reviews. This game already struggles with toxicity and pessimism, we don’t need more. You are probably the biggest content creator for this game right now and it would just be nice to see some positivity come from you, it just always seems negative.

I really don’t think the community is as top heavy as you think. Atleast the PS4. More then half of people id guess aren’t even exalted in all the factions, or have storm chaser.

A good portion of people feel like they are done or close to being so when they get around 1350/1400 GS and then remake their chars running around with 10 alts, instead of 1 progressed far enough to make this quest viable.

As soon as you qualify for time dungeons you qualify for the ancient weapons quest. I think that's a lot of people on either platform. On top of that, even people who don't qualify or need antique keys anymore are farming them for the resale value. Devs are taking this issue very seriously and are discussing changes.

I think you are underselling the amounts of toxicity we have. Our community has a terrible reputation and it won't get better by not pointing it out. It's possible that it is a bit worse on Xbox because early game glitches caused a serious power imbalance. But people grossly disrespecting each other is being done on social media for all platform members. As long as we are bullying each other, I sincerely hope people continue to speak up about it.

I've been there lately for people who were bullied into a very bad place. And with the anger and spite over ancient weapons being a big deal currently, that kind of directs my focus. But I was genuinely excited...

Focus on upgrading your weapon first. You'll be amazed how much of a difference that makes. High damage > high gear score

“Its mostly about people taking their frustrations out on eachother” I think ultimately thats all it is most of the time, people misdirecting their anger at the games mechanics when its really not that bad

We aren’t expected to be all completing this within a week, or even a month. The ancient weapon content is for the maxed out players who need something to do, and even then it will take us atleast a month.

The rest of the community can worry about getting stronger, CC, SC, and lvl 40+, this shouldn’t even be on their list right now.

In a perfect world everyone would realize that and just relax. Part of a game designer's job, especially in multiplayer games is to anticipate how players will respond to your system. The idea isn't to frustrate players, its to make them feel rewarded, even when they aren't really getting anything.

Also with the game having had content drought issues at endgame since release, there are so many endgamers alone that even if you took out lower tier players it would still be like tossing a grain of rice at a sea of hungry people every few hours

I main a sader as well. Wear headphones so you can use sound to find him quickly when he teleports. Don't use stamina to run, save that for dodging. Gideon is a patience game, so take your time. I made this guide. Hope it helps https://youtu.be/3BY3mpB3XEc
