Hey there, what did it look like when you tried booting Rocket League when Windows Defender was blocking it?
I understand that it is working for you now, but I'm curious if this matches some symptoms that other players are dealing with.
Thanks!

just tried using launch option "-windowed" in steam and sadly it did not work for me. Using both -windowed and disabling full screen optimizations managed to get it to launch though!
just deleted the -windowed option and it still goes. THANK YOU FOR THIS! all anyone was telling me to do was update my .net framework over and over even though its literally impossible for me to do.
Hey, I'm glad that you have been able to start Rocket League up again, but if it's possible, could you check your Binaries folder and see if there are any logs present? We can use this information to help diagnose the cause of the launch issues.
The directory to this folder will likely be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\
If you do have a Launch.log or other log file in there, it would be great if you could DM it to me. You can upload it to a media hosting site like google drive or pastebin.com if you prefer.
How about making the game start up again? Win 10 64bit, game files verified through steam + newest .NET version installed and it simply does not start.
The sheer level of inadequacy displayed over the course of last week is breathtaking.
Hey there, I'm really sorry that the launching issues continued even after updating to the newest .NET version.

Read moreHey there, thanks for reporting this. We'll look into the different variations of this word and make sure players are not able to abuse it with subversive text.
Hey guys, it seems like you are talking about game servers. The issues we are seeing right now are related to our backend services which are not related to our game servers.
I understand that there have been complaints about match performance, which we have kept an eye on and made improvements on, but the recent outages are not correlated.
Hey guys, we put Rocket League back into maintenance mode to help bring players back into the game. While you should be able to play again, more issues may arise. We are still working through these issues so we can find a resolution as quickly as possible. Thanks again for your patience.

I'm actually quite happy and I think I live a fulfilling life. I wouldn't want anything less for myself and especially not for others.
I'm really sorry the server outages have affected you in this way, though PsyNet is back and looking stable so you should be able to hop back on. We are continuing to investigate so issues nor conversations like this have to happen again.
Edit: We're seeing some recurring issues. Our team is investigating the situation and we will update you all when we have more information.
Why does it say "maintenance" and not "investigation" then? https://imgur.com/a/XvVrucl
Maintenance mode is a way of restarting services in order to control the flow of requests coming in. This is something that we have enabled to help us resolve the connection issues while also fixing the root of the problem.
Hey guys. We're seeing similar issues from before and as a result, we've put Rocket League into maintenance mode.
You should expect to see more updates from us as we find a resolution.
You can also find updates on Twiter: https://twitter.com/RocketLeague
Hey there,
If you message me with your in-game username or Steam profile URL, I can look at some of your recent matches with packet loss. From there I can give you instructions on how to run an MTR test against those servers so you will have information to give your ISP.
Good job Dirk!
Just turn it off and on again
Works every time 😏

Thanks for the reminder. I'll be sure to tell the Online Services team to step over because Dirk's here to fix it.
Hey all.
We are aware that players are unable to connect to PsyNet and we working finding a resolution.
We will update you once the conditions are back to normal.

PsyNet looks to be recovering so you may be able to reconnect, however, issues may still be present.

Hey all, we are aware of the current issues with PsyNet and we are working on finding a resolution.
Sorry about the issues and thanks for your patience.
edit: Servers are back in order and you should be able to reconnect now.
Currently, are any actions being taken when someone submits a "Report inappropriate club name" report? I've come across a few that should definitely not be allowed, but never receive notification messages after reporting.
Yes there are, though it seems that notifications may not always be consistent especially if there is a long enough delay since the ban and the reporter's next log in.

Thank you! I'll look through the Clubs you've run across and make sure that appropriate action is taken against bad actors.
Yeah we had a club play us the other day with white and red cars with white wizard hats and the club was named KKK sympathizers, freaking ridiculous. It would also be awesome to have a system in place that notifies us if a report we made against someone was acted upon so we know that something is being done.
Hmmm, that shouldn't be possible, at least without some kind of obfuscation. If you can share your account username or Steam profile URL with me, I'll look these guys up and make sure that can't happen.
What?! Do you mean to tell me that OP went out on the Internet and told lies? Scandalous!
Cheek aside, cheers for piping in with that. It's pretty obvious now that you mention it.
No problem :) If it wasn't posted on a Sunday I would've commented earlier, but hey I guess it was meme day so we gotta let it slide for a bit. :P
Yet I see people with club names like "All trans people should die" all the time, and they keep that name with no problem for months at a time.
I'll look into this phrase to make sure that players can't abuse it. Thanks!
