@ScotScooter Dammit, that sucks. Most smells were also quite bad for me at the start but it has gotten better since and I’ve gotten used to some. Except garlic and onion. I absolutely can’t stand that smell that they have now.
If you get the option to get vaccinated, take it. Even „just“ mild infections can have a long lasting impact.
Little Update: It’s been 10+ months since I had COVID and my sense of smell is still a mess with most things still smelling completely different, and rather bad. And I still don’t even really notice the smell of smoke 🙈

@NiclasOlofsson Occasionally I do smell smoke as well without there being anything really. Presumably in stressful situations, however then it usually doesn’t go away until the next day. It’s super weird if you can’t trust your sense of smell. Actual smoke doesn’t smell like smoke at all lol

It’s been almost 6 months and pretty much anything has a different, funny smell/taste now. Some things smell disgusting. Turns out it’s no longer just animal products, especially most fruits taste horrible 🤪
