Definitely need to page somebody. I've even messaged /u/thearcan without response as of yet.
Sorry to hear you haven't been getting anywhere with support - whats your ticket number please?

Someone here already explained that the spring launch was a misunderstanding. In any case I went back and searched for news regarding Worldslayer and the supposed "Early Spring Launch", I found some news outlets stating exactly that, one of those stated, and I quote: "[...], Square Enix teased a new Outriders expansion that'll arrive in the spring 2022.[...]" - B. William, Games News 24 So my guess it's that it either was a completely misunderstanding on the media part or maybe a mistake in some comment made. I would put my money on the media twisting someone's words. 😕 Anyway sry about that, again, didn't mean to be rude, just miss earing from you guys.😘
No worries at all - thanks for letting me know where that info came from! Could be a mistranslation perhaps. Good to hear that it's just a single source rather than widespread expectation though.
No offense taken at all, we're very much looking forward to sharing what we've got with you. :)
I mentioned this earlier this month, but there won't be any news this March...
Don't worry, we're still working on Worldslayer and no delays have taken place :)
Here's what we said previously:
As part of today’s Broadcast, we also revealed our upcoming expansion: Worldslayer. You can watch the teaser trailer here. We’ll share more about Worldslayer in Spring 2022, but today is dedicated to the New Horizon update.
Here's a ...
Read moreWe're hard at work on Worldslayer, though we still need some more time to prepare for it's reveal and roll-out. We don't have any plans for any official announcements to be made in March but we'll make sure to make a lot of noise when we do have tangible information to share.

Able to reproduce - Not sure I’ve never had this happen before but I’ve heard in the discord others have experienced this
Were you playing multiplayer - Yes 3 players
Was cross play activated - Yes
I have put a link to a video of this occurring.
Thanks for the report!
Hey man. No worries. Got all my items back and got to play again. It happened the only time I did coop. Going to play with my friend again in the next week, so hopefully it doesn't happen again. Will let you know if it does
Great, thanks for the reply and sorry that it happened in the first place. Have fun!
Mmm ok well my initial response was what the devs said to do in their last update post from a month ago.
So /u/thearcan what's up with this?
This sounds like an agent may have sent a wrong reply - I'll try and look into this - /u/i_do_always, was the support team able to resolve this issue? If not, can you provide me with your support ticket number and I'll contact them about it?
(Sorry for the late reply, I've been away).
Hey everyone,
I wanted to end this year with a final community post. (Note: You can find the now unpinned New Horizon Mega-thread here.)
New Horizon released just over a month ago now and it has been AWESOME seeing so many players flood back into the game to try out the Expeditions and Endgame experience they asked for. We've of course also been keeping an eye on tech and community matters and wanted to provide an update from our side:
Balance Matters:
Holy f**k, they really are useless, aren't they? If I stored the data on my console, this likely wouldn't have happened, or I'd possibly have a backup. Seven back-and-forth e-mails, all with the same info requested and given.
Whats your ticket number please?
We tried that, total waste of time. I got the "please let us know what weapon and armor pieces had which mods you lost".
Really? I said I lost it ALL 🤔🤨
Don't waste your time with support, I gave all info they requested so they could "look" at my account, and nothing.
I said I lost it ALL
"All" can mean different things for different people.
A level 25 player losing everything is very different to an endgame player losing everything. The support team ask you such questions because they want to try and give you back everything as accurately as possible, not blanket your account in virtually all unlocks if you haven't yet earned them (as that takes the gameplay out of farming for them).
Please contact our support team about this. They have tools to be able to look into your account and resolve this. You can reach them here: sqex.to/support

Read more"To even progress through the highest Tiers you should need to change things about your setup, you should need to learn how to optimally time, synchronize and synergize your skills. You should have to grind, find and mod gear that kicks your build into overdrive. You may even need to spend several days practising or trying to figure out what to do just to progress a single Tier. And eventually… something will click. You will farm that required god-roll or find a combination that just works."
You hit the nail on the head with this. I put my devastator away and made a Pyro when New Horizon came out. I made it to CT10 or so and got stuck. For nearly a week I was working on farming gear and resources and crafting a more ideal build. It finally clicked, and I cleared CT10 and immediately after that CT11.
It felt great, extremely rewarding. Each tier increase I would just shout YESSSSSS when I cleared it.
I experienced the same challenge/joy on my Dev back when...
Really awesome to hear you're enjoying that loop and are also getting that rewarding feeling out of it, particularly as you worked so hard for it. Congrats on the progression and good luck for the future!
I'm not sure what you can or can't say Toby, but can we expect any form of updates in between now and Worldslayer? In terms of patches for balancing and bugs?
I'm sure everyone is looking forward to Worldslayer as I am but thought I'd ask.
New Horizon was intended as the "rounding off" of our work on the base game. Once the New Horizon update released, our plan was to keep an eye on things and see how they unfold - basically be ready in case there were any things that require immediate patches in the short term.
While there are still a few outstanding issues, I don't believe any of them warrant an immediate fix simply because of how much patch creation impacts our overall progress. Developing even small patches takes an enormous amount of work from our teams. It is fair to say that the New Horizon update might have arrived earlier if we hadn't needed to focus on addressing certain issues through patches earlier. It is therefore similarly true to say that to continue patching the Outriders base game in the way we previously did would delay the release of Worldslayer.
The release of the expansion is at this moment looking like it will be our next opportunity to fix any outstanding bugs and niggles in t...
Read moreOn this note, it may be worth sharing something I wrote months ago but wasn't able to post at the time (this was going to be part of our response to the balancing decisions we made in April).
Read more...Let’s talk about our original vision for how difficulty would work in Outriders. As you know, we have World Tiers and Challenge Tiers, both of which provide an increasingly difficult challenge as you progress through them.
Not all players will (want to) reach the hardest tiers or levels in the game. Some folks prefer to play games at their own pace and difficulty. The game will automatically find a difficulty rating that is suited to these players and they will feel challenged but not utterly overwhelmed. And for anyone who wants to, there should never be any shame in going down a Tier to make the game easier – that’s okay and it’s the reason we have such a spread in difficulty settings.
On the other hand, we have players who want to reach the high...
For Worldslayer we are looking at the overall mod library usage and are considering changes that may well speak directly to what you have in mind here. We're considering the viability of single target, cleave and uncapped AOE mods against each other and what we can do to make different mods more fun and, as you say, less punishing to play with. That includes looking at how on-kill mod effects are consumed and triggered/not consumed if played in certain arrays.
I can't share any details about where we'll end up with ultimately since Worldslayer is still in development and is looking forward to lots of balancing + we haven't yet kickstarted the marketing campaign for it, but I just wanted to let you know that we are looking at these kind of questions.

Tagging /u/ClutchGamer21 too for visibility.
Great thread, I'll sticky this as I'm sure it will also be helpful for continued discussions from new players in general. :)
If I might make a couple humble suggestions for additions to your list - The Damage Control and Cover threads that we put out in the past may be quite helpful to explain some aspects of the game that are not immediately obvious (or easily forgotten).

Thanks for your really nice and detailed comment... quite interesting stuffs you mentioned there... lot to think of...
Sorry about the naming of these "issues", as you said they may not be related with mitigation issue. But that one is so famous that anything player find in game is named like that now... lol...
It is really good to know that damage taken now it is higher tho, I have never read about such change either... but if it is intended to be like that, its ok for me, I love challenges.
But anyway, I still think there something "strange" with damage, and still think it is related with whatever that "red-splash" in the lobby screen is. I agree with you there, something is triggering this things, but I have not been able to find what.
I have been making some extra tests, and I almost always take more dama...
The vids are unfortunately private - can you change them to unlisted? That way I can look at them as long as I have the link. Thank you very much for the response either way :)
If you're referring to the "red-splash" on login or in the lobby, I do remember that being an issue in the past but which appeared to be very inconsistent and impossible for us to reproduce. It looked like a strange "very character specific" bug.
Either way, I'll check in later again to see if the vids are unlisted!
