I'd suggest trying to repair/reinstall the redistributables for the game.
/ 1. Run the Windows System File Checker
The Windows System File Checker will repair any Microsoft DLLs on your PC that may be preventing Vermintide 2 from playing correctly.
This can be done using the instructions here: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360039450413--PC-How-to-run-the-Windows-System-File-Checker
//2. Reinstall the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables
Vermintide 2 relies on the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables, and a broken installation may result in an unstable experience.
Please uninstall the existing version of the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables, reboot your PC and reinstall from the Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145
If an error is displayed claiming the redistributables cannot be installed as a newer version is already installed on the PC, please reinstall the Visual C++ 2017 Redistributables instead.
You could also, long shot, try setting up a new user profile in windows and seeing if the error persists playing through that. If it doesn't persist it could be your user profile has a level of corruption (we've seen this before).
