Hey guys,

started playing legend recently and a player was toxic as hell in the public match and started team killing everyone before quitting and joining my sessions whenever possible again and calling everyone racial slurs in chat. Even with them blocked on steam and with my vermintide 2 matches set to private this player is consistently able to join my sessions and ruin the game for me - any idea how I can stop this cringe? I have this stuff recorded so please don't @ me saying it isn't possible to join to grief because that's what I thought too until this

I've noticed that sometimes players accidentally join my lobby even when I'm not matchmaking. That means that your host is open by default and settings are applied in post to filter connections.

This is a security oversight by FS that, while in context isn't too harmful (just players joining you in a game lobby) it does raise concerns about client vulnerabilities as a whole.

I would definitely contact FS about this and urge them to look into their implementation of the Steamworks API again to check for vulnerabilities.

Does u/Fatshark_Hedge still come around here?

Indeed. I've passed this on.
