It's on sale now, thinking about getting it. What is the collectors edition? My girlfriend and I love the 2nd one. So she and I have only played VT2. What does it take away or add from the that game?

There is a trinket you can wear which leans the dice roll to a chosen hero, but it hogs the trinket slot and probably doesn't skew the roll enough to be impactful enough, in hindsight.
Being rewarded with items for other heroes does help players gear up and consider playing the other hero choices, but if you just wanna play the one hero, and your mates are playing all the others, it can be a drag.
